don't have PlayStation plus yet kinda hate how some games need it to go online

According to Sony, you only need a 5 Mbps connection to have a "good" experience with PS Now

If that's the case, it would actually be feasible for me. But I don't believe it one bit.

twitchyzero 01-09-2014 05:53 PM

wouldn't a decent internet connection in HK be super affordable?

SkinnyPupp 01-09-2014 05:55 PM

It is in the city, but not when you live in the boonies :fuckthatshit:

8 Mbps is as good as it gets for me. I hear you can sign up for LTE based internet and get about 10 Mbps, but there is a 5 GB per month cap, and I'd be over that in a day or 2.

GC8 01-14-2014 04:25 PM

Anyone know which store currently has stock for ps4? Thanks!

Maybe direct all online play through LTE and keep all the pr0n... I meant download on cable/DSL? :troll:

The playing itself shouldn't take much traffic. I remember during my recent trip to my dad's cottage, between all the browsing, emails (with attachments) and 4hrs+ of HoN, Steam every day for a week, I barely cracked 1GB on my LTE data plan.

and although I am not sure how much 5GB data is in HK, considering it's $30 for 6GB in Canada, HK should be a fraction of that.

Just finished KillZone 4, kind of pretty game not much substance to it though games ending was underwhelming. not what i expected from Killzone but i've only played the first one :lol #2 is still waiting to be played on my ps3 and i didnt even know there was a #3

westopher 01-21-2014 10:30 PM

Bought a ps4 today and need for speed. Pretty sure this thing isn't going to be used for anything other than netflix until driveclub, gt7, or nhl15 comes out. Fuck.

bcedhk 01-21-2014 11:04 PM

KZ3 is pretty epic, do recommend playing it.

I played it with Move as well. Also has 3D but that got boring.

1.60 update coming

finally gives support to ps3 pulse headsets ($99 and $139) and enables 7.1 virtual sound

this update should have came right from the beginning

also new ps4 headset coming

http://oyster.ignimgs.com/wordpress/...et-610x343.jpg

most likely just a rebranded pulse with a price tag $99

PS4 Update 1.60, $99 Wireless Headset Announced - IGN

knight604 02-03-2014 06:53 PM

The design of the pulse was terrible...

But the quality of the sound for the price was not bad.

Here's why, check out the cracks along the silver part.

what's everyone's ps4 psn picked up battlefield

rageguy 02-04-2014 09:20 PM

I owned the original Pulse headset, that was cool and great for the price of $99. Then Sony released the Pulse Elite (posted above) and the only additional benefit was the vibration feature. Now Sony releases a Gold headset with no vibration, but foldability.

3 headsets have been released, still the same basic 7.1 simulated surround proprietary to Sony. No Dolby Headphone, no Kleernet wireless or Bluetooth. Where is the innovation?!

twitchyzero 02-04-2014 09:40 PM

i had the wireless stereo headset then upgraded to the Pulse...build quality is great for the price and very feature rich... and was plesantly surprised when they released the profile app. I'm surprised your's is cracking...then again I baby my stuff. The original wireless stereo headset is better in terms of comfort for me however.

Kleernet is just 5GHz...I rarely get interference with the Pulse's 2.4GHz...anyways if you want the best quality get real headphones or a HT setup...these were meant to be convenient and loaded with features rather than focusing on sound quality. It is crazy how they've released a new PS headphone like every year now...i'm sure we'll see more

knight604 02-04-2014 10:50 PM

I baby my stuff too and i asked my friend who had the same headset and he has the same problem , maybe you dont use yours as much we do, i use mine at least from full to dead battery and everyday too.
