^ yup same thing happened to me, PSN server is still getting hammered from downloads, Warframe did froze on me as well, sat there for like 2 mins looking at the screen debating wether to unplug it or which i did.. lucky its still working

but otherwise i know about 20 or so co worker and friends that got their ps4 and working fine..

BF4 is still broken, only Obliteration mode is working for me, Conquest, and Rush has me getting kicked out of servers 5 mins after joining the game, the rest i cant even boot up.....

and no party system.. and gun set up can only be acess once your in the game, is it the same in pc?

did you try holding the ps home button to force close the app? works quite well.

Your friend downloaded the PS3 to PS4 UPGRADE version. He's SOL unless he can get his hands on a PS3 copy of BF4. Readily available on CL though for cheap right now.

As for the way it's shipped that's also how futureshop and bestbuy shipped theirs, a giant box with some paper filling on one side of the box only. but since they were shipped out from Richmond there wasn't really any chance for damage

My ps4 has been working flawlessly all weekend until it started auto ejecting about an hour ago. I unplugged it and haven't tried playing since.

Well I'm messing around the menu system right now, Actually I was called into EA a few times to do some testing of the menu system (don't ask me how) one of my friends and teammates used to do motion capture for them many times,,,, but I like to think I had a bit of input on the menu system however small, lol...

compared to 2K the menu system is fckin awesome, 2K menus is something pulled from like 2001 PC era

Side note, has anyone found that the controllers battery drains pretty quickly. I've gone down to 1 bar of battery twice now both times starting from fully charged. I don't have any measurements in time but I really haven't gamed too much yet imo, 10 hours tops.

I kind of noticed, it also takes a while to charge up while plugged in and gaming at the same time. But the great thing is you don't have to keep the system on to charge the remotes! It just means its time for a break, lol.

My couch is close enough to my TV that I can play with it plugged in.
