I got lucky. Buddie's gf surprised him with one,so I bought his extra that was just delivered by the mailman today. Also got the controller from amazon for $45 tax in.

No immediate use so far other than voice commands, however they do plan on adding a shit load more of promised voice commands, and have big plans for it in regards to games and controls.

ya i think the max average battery life is 7 to 8 hours for me

picked up the camera, the most you will be spending your time in the playroom is 20 mins or so, just a tech demo of what it can do.. unlike the kinect on xbox360 where it has a motor to adjust from the tv to find your face, the ps camera doesnt, you have to manually move it to coordinate where you want it facing
its mostly good for people broadcasting themselves on twitch/ustream..

so looks like BF4 might not get properly fix until early next week when they release the patch..

BTW Rivals... is freaking awesome!! I just got a tiny bit further in the game and they didn't cut any corners with this game. WOW and the visuals!!!

Transfered over my COD:Ghosts from my ps3 to ps4, pretty happy that the ps4 came with the $10 credit so it was pretty much free. Not seeing too big of a difference between systems. Trying to find a hook up at EA to get NFS, and Fifa.

Connecting to PSN has been a real pain in the ass, I was able to get on there long enough to dl Resogun and now it doesn't work again.

I have a hard wired connection to the PS4, the only time I had trouble logging onto PSN was during the initial setup, but now everything is smooth, no issues. For those having issues, try hard wiring if its an option for now.

cod ghosts is runnning smoothly......Battlefield works...but isn't 100%....you get booted out the game once and awhile then the game completely randomly crashes to the main ps4 menu...

Unfortunately I don't have to option to hard wire the connection. My PS3 has worked fine using wifi so i'm wondering if it's just because the psn servers on the ps4 are just too busy, or is the wifi in the ps4 just shitty?

I do notice that the signal strength is sitting only at 50%, where my ps3 is at 75-90% in the same room....weird.

ya COD is running smooth online.. i vowed not to buy another cod again after mw3.. me and buddies were force to buy this because we cant play bf4 online

the only thing that makes this "next gen" is the textures are at a higher res, much like what it looks on pc

for a console that sold a million in US and Canada combined, there is only 24k ppl playing..

im starting to get into warframe.... playing with random people doing missions is actually fun
