a handful of units a week isn't going to satisfy demand i imagine and i wonder if they'll be able to keep up that type of release once the 29th rolls by

They're not going to release a shit load at once. They're going week by week and probably ramp it up in early Dec.

So far it's about a million sold and a Sony exec recently said by Jan 2014 he expects 3-4 million sold. The whole point of releasing it in Nov is to take advantage of the holiday season.

Those exec said that they won't rush and fill up the store selves, they want to create the illusion of the console being constantly sold out.

They are probably holding most inventory for Europe and Asia launches next month.

But its easy to pick up the US version in HK atm, but at around $1400 more than the official price, hardly anyone is getting it, most people are just waiting for the launch next month.

So...my ps4 is collecting dust already...hahhahaha

Damn if not for the internal PSU, the PS4 could probably be even slimmer

yeah i was thought the same if they made it an external psu the ps4 would be tiny and if they go disc-less in the future maybe it'll be the size of a media player

Totally digging the fact that I can just plug any headphones into my controller and have the audio go through there instead of the TV. No need for adaptors or anything. Now I just need to get some better headphones. Currently just using the apple earbuds lol.

PLaying COD and Killzone so far. Not really digging Killzone that much and will probably be done with it soon. Good thing BB is offering $40 trade in until Jan for this.

What games is everyone playing? I am going to pick up nba 2k14, My brother and buddy were playing Kill Zone and they told me its the worst game they have ever played LOL. BF4 is probably going to be my multiplayer choice if they can get the servers working soon.

Anyone see this? Quite an eye opener for biased reviews. Its a shame too cause I really like Polygon's web design.

NBA 2k14 is pretty good. I have COD, AC4, BF4 and I've only played NBA. I can't stop playing.

2k14 is pretty good. I'm a basketball newb but its fun to play.

Only crappy thing is when you go to "the park" for "I got next", even though the court is filled with people wanting to play, a game never starts.
