NBminer now has full unlock. Seems like everyone is joining the party.

ime2006 05-08-2022 11:52 AM

Looks like LHR cards will go up in price... probably just a bit

HonestTea 05-09-2022 05:07 AM

Has anyone heard or is a part of STEPN?

donk. 05-09-2022 05:45 AM

Another crypto pyramid scheme
You can make money off it, as long as new users keep joining the platform (just like dao's)
Decent "shoes" are 5k+ last time I checked, would take around a month to make your money back assuming you walk / run every day

Who ever thought of buying the nft "shoes" is a genius, owner of the platform is probably rolling in cash moneys

mikemhg 05-09-2022 04:38 PM

Hold up wait, they made a new coin based on a shoe you purchase and walk around in?

Hohohoho :lol

Manic! 05-09-2022 05:07 PM

So terra/UST is a stable coin pegged to the US dollar. It's at .75 right now.

So why aren't people buying it if it's gonna go back to $1

donk. 05-09-2022 06:07 PM

Who says its gonna go back up :troll:

Razor Ramon HG 05-09-2022 06:27 PM

LOL, my 5 minutes of Google says some clusterfuck happened with the parent Terra project or something.

Eatman 05-09-2022 07:51 PM

Remember back in 2017/18 when everyone was hating on USDT?
now everybody loves it lol

Razor Ramon HG 05-09-2022 10:38 PM

I think people are still iffy about tether. Tether was a huge topic at the time with SEC and audits.

Manic! 05-09-2022 10:50 PM

UST is back up to .93 from a low .63 today. What a comeback.

I talked about this back in feb when floor price on sneaker was half of current price and GST was actually around the same price as today.

I was mock at back then. I’ve already pull my initial out and now rolling free. I am sure any mention of this will continue to be mocked

Everything in crypto is a ponzi until it isn’t. No on know if anything is sustainable, you can only take a leap of faith base on what you can gather from the team and their action. So far every market manipulation they have done is int he name of sustainability. STEPN is now doing more daily volumn than Opensea. Take that for what you may. They are still gating new user sign up at an approximate rate of 1000 per day.

Oh and UST. Anyone brought the fud? Manage to brought at .65. Trim most my position and waiting to sell the rest when it’s back near $1

Not the first time a stable depeged. Great risk to reward play for anyone with the appetite.

For anyone that wants the learn the difference between all the stable coin
Main difference between stables:

Busd
Usdc
Usdt

Backed by central entities with real world $ assets (theoretically) with usdc being the most certifiably backed (withstood audits etc)

Vs

Mim
Dai
UST

Which are stablecoins that stay near $1 through protocol staking / using this as a treasury to back

Word on the street is Citadel (yea the GME entity) cordinated this attack on Terra with OTC BTC loan to Do KWan (Terra founder), preceed to dump UST on the market while shorting BTC knowing Kwan will need to dump his BTC reserve to maintain peg.
Algo stablecoin leaves alot of paper trail on-chain, anyone with the know how and power can in theory figure out each of these player's liquidation point and use it to their advantge, thus they are subjected to these manipulation and malcious attack.

Ironically the stablecoin that operates behind close door much like centralize finance have shown to be relatively immune to attacks like this. Because well who even know if USDT USDC etc is actually peg to what they say it is.

Just to be clear, I only mocked the idea that NFT shoes would become popular in mainstream, not that you would make money off them. NFT people will be able to make money off other NFT people for a while still, as long as they can keep getting mainstream people and bankers to dump money into the pool... But that's being done through huge mainstream promotion like crypto.com ads, not NFT shoes.

Jesus that LUNA fall $130 to $4 in a couple of days… I know a few people heavily invested in that, that’s suicide watch levels of collapse there monkaS

Manic! 05-11-2022 08:53 AM

UST was as low as .29 today it's at .65 right now.

PeanutButter 05-11-2022 09:10 AM

There was a bank run on UST, which is what caused it to unpeg. Because it's an algo stable coin backed by LUNA, LUNA had to sell off to stabilize UST, which is hard to do if LUNA's marketcap falls below UST..

Oh man, this market is just CRAZY!

$3k worth of LUNA is now worth $50 or so now... Oh man, what a time to be alive.

I guess this is what happens when I stray away from BTC/ETH. It only took me five years, but I think i'm done with alt coins, i'm just going to keep stacking BTC/ETH.

I'm going to blame my cousin here. Guy planted the seed that I should take my profits and sprinkle them in different alt coins since the growth would be better... I'm just kidding, the only person I can blame is myself. edit; Actually, I should look at this as the cost of education.

Never a dull moment in crypto.

Razor Ramon HG 05-11-2022 09:29 AM

Altcoins do tend to run once BTC's price stabilizes in a bull market, but when BTC goes the other way they drop significantly more.

threezero 05-11-2022 10:20 AM

You are suppose to use altcoin to accumulate more btc/eth

You are not suppose to use btc/eth to try and accumulate more altcoins LUL

Man Luna was the short of the century.
Feels bad for those in LUNA. this were definitely this cycle's bitconnect

68style 05-11-2022 10:42 AM

Oof it's almost at $1 now

I remember the first time I heard of LUNA was on the NSX Facebook group... guys were riding it up and down to make $$$ to buy NSX's

I even rode it myself a couple times from $70 to $120 for some profits... good thing I wasn't active on the computer the last couple days, would have gotten tempted into catching a falling dagger.

mikemhg 05-11-2022 12:01 PM

The entire space is one big farce -- many predicted this was going to happen.

Manic! 05-11-2022 12:42 PM

Lots of wild rumors.

mikemhg 05-11-2022 01:10 PM

^It's interesting reading about people's thoughts and theories on that:

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurre...was_caused_by/

This sentence is the most telling:

"How is it supposed to be a replacement for our current financial system if it's this fragile and poorly designed?"

The entire space is a farce and always has been, yet another vehicle to rob a fool of their money.

The warning signs have always been there.
