lol there are 6.9 trillions luna out there now... (5 days ago there were 350 millions, so a 20,000x increase in a few days)
at $0.01 you are still talking about $70billions market cap.

The price is moving just from gambler pumping and dumping against one another and people who don't understand market cap buying them.
Some people think since it was once worth $100, there could be a slight chance it goes back up to maybe $10 or even $1 so their $10 bet could turn into thousands.

I dont think anyone beside gambler and idoits are buying luna right now.

Having said that I did buy $10 at the very bottom yesterday and now its about $1000 lol

I try to avoid Kucoin. They frequently held up your coin for a loooong time when you try to withdraw. FTX have a decent selection of shitcoins too, and yes there is LUNA.

Spot buying on LUNA has been reopen on most exchanges even binance now. Future contract still not tradable, but it is still heavily shorted. I been lending my LUNA out for 100%-300% apr the whole day

Amazingly talented artist trying out NFT for the first time. She was doing piece like this and other commission pieces for $200 a pop before.

16eth sale on her first NFT drop

donk. 05-18-2022 03:10 PM

Money laundering 101

SkinnyPupp 05-18-2022 03:20 PM

Yeah that's totally a normal thing that happens all the time LUL

Totally not NFT people trying to hype it up

Glad an artist benefited from it though, good for her

How to hype up lol.

The media NEVER report on any wholesome story like this on NFT.

Money laundering the standard answer for anything people make money on that others don't understand, so not a surprising reaction.

SkinnyPupp 05-18-2022 05:21 PM

I don't think it's money laundering

It was an excellent hype up job.. Artist who already has a following hints at dipping their toes, NFT fans hype it up, sells for $2000. That's nothing for a bitcoin billionaire, but the artist gets paid. It's great!

Both fake hype and money laundering are terrible takes imo.

Terribly way to launder money into a space that has all the attention of the tax department.

Terribly way to "hype" something. If you are not willing to pay 13 eth for artwork you still wouldn't be paying 13eth for artwork now. All it does it does bring in starving artists hoping to hit it big. So the whales are hyping NFT up so they can spend more on NFT that nobody else is buying from them????

SkinnyPupp 05-18-2022 05:33 PM

It's not fake hype at all, it's real hype and the artist got paid

Why do you keep trying to make it seem like a bad thing?

ime2006 05-26-2022 12:43 PM

based on current crypto market,

are you guys still mining ? and will you guys keep mining other coins after ETH merge ?

StylinRed 05-26-2022 03:27 PM

Yeah, it's still profitable after power costs

And if you've already paid off your investment, even better

Tegra_Devil 06-13-2022 05:02 PM

I am loving this. I pulled out all my crypto holdings into usdc about 2 months ago. Time to finally buy myself some bitcoin on the cheap. I think it will hit the 300 week MA.

In other news, just got this email:

In light of regulatory developments in Canada, Bittrex Global is currently taking steps to discontinue access to its platform by Canadian Users with effect from 28 July 2022. As of that date, you will be unable to make trades from your Bittrex Global account(s), any holdings you have in restricted products will be liquidated, and any balances you have with Bittrex Global will need to be transferred off our platform.

A “Canadian User” is a Bittrex Global user that completed Bittrex Global’s user on-boarding process using a photo identification document showing a Canadian address.

To assist our users residing in Canada, in advance of this date we are giving you the opportunity to accept an automatic transfer of your account, positions and balances to Catalyx, a leading Canadian-based crypto trading platform operated by CatalX CTS Ltd. (“Catalyx”). Bittrex Global has partnered with Catalyx since its inception, serving as their main technology and liquidity provider. More information about Catalyx is available here.

Catalyx is currently engaged with members of the Canadian Securities Administrators in a regulatory process to become authorized in all Canadian jurisdictions under an evolving regulatory framework for crypto trading platforms operating in Canada.

This is where crypto is a real letdown... people are championing it as a currency that isn't held under the institutions... but government are finding really easy and effective ways to basically say fuck off to the entire industry and that's it. They're saying play ball or get banned... there's nothing any of these companies can do to undermine the system that's in place.

I've already had to remove funds from multiple exchanges due to Provincial regulations within ON within the last year.

donk. 06-15-2022 10:17 AM

I said before that noone regulates crypto, and noone really checks if you filed it for taxes

With the above email, I would not be surprised if an audit system is implemented to all Canadian crypto exchanges in the near future.

You can probably still attach your coins to non-canadian exchanges and get away with it, but looks like they are finally starting to regulate it

mikemhg 06-15-2022 11:34 AM

Wasn't I saying this would all drop from early on in this thread :lol

Crypto is nothing but a Ponzi scheme, it's not an asset. I'm sure we'll see crypto utilized in some governed and regulated capacity one day for payment purposes, but the world of privately run crypto will become a distant memory. I have little sympathy for those that lost their shirts as a result of their greed by jumping into this crap.

blkgsr 06-15-2022 11:38 AM

so what happens if you move all your coins off the exchanges to a cold wallet?

I'm sure they can track that you moved it out but how do they know what i've done with it since?

Cold wallet is still a ledger. You can't move it while it's in a cold wallet.

Yeah, if you go cold wallet to buy something with it, no one would know about the capital gains.
