It's hard to let go of the 1st party stuff. The only games that I've gotten rid of are 3rd party games. It's probably why all the Nintendo games are still selling at full price, even DS titles.

On another note, I saw a list of upcoming Virtual Console games:
I'm stoked for SMB3, and I might pick up Tecmo Bowl, as well.

Hey guys, I know this is a long shot, but has anyone here in the Lower Mainland seen an Animal Crossing Limited Edition 3DS XL system around? Word on the internet is it's Best Buy only, but the Best Buy site doesn't even show a page for it.

My sister has been dropping hints about wanting it for her birthday and I'd really hope to get one for her.

And shelling out $400 for it on eBay is a pretty ridiculous option.

Good luck, man. Unless you pre-ordered it, the chances of purchasing at retail price is minimal. The stock in stores was already slim pickings on release day, and that was more than 2 months ago. I'd just get her the Pink XL and purchase AC from the eShop.

Anyone get the new Mario/Luigi rpg? I just bought it but haven't played it yet. Looks fun :)

Got it on launch day with the preorder decals. About 20 hours in and gotta say it's awesome... Really charming if you've played the previous ones. From what i've read online the games are super long so it's worth the money in my opinion.

Ugh, made a mistake buying kingdom hearts and kid icarus.. I just can't get into it..

I don't think I've had my 3DS on for more than 30 min since I've gotten it. Just waiting for the new pokemon to come out.

Got mh3u and my circle pad pro today, been playing non stop. Too bad they didnt put online multiplayer in the 3ds version.

Just bought that gold Zelda pack edition 3ds and picked up Ocarina of time 3d as well.... Bought the system almost strictly for long airplane rides, so I'm pussy footin with both games so hard not to smash through the levels and worlds though... DAT Nostalgia hits HARD....

I wanna pick up a few more nostalgic games like Mario, etc...but I'm a bit confused about all these different models Of the handheld, like which gamed are compatible with which systems?? Is this thing Hackable BTW?

Also how long does battery last? My airplane rides are usually 8-9 hours? And is there any extra battery power packs or adapters I can buy to prolong the battery life? Or some kinda USB power chord that way I can at least plug it into the airplane USB plug they have next to the screens

3DS, 3DSXL, 2DS all play 3DS cartridges. 3DS Flash carts are still in their infancy. Gateway and R4i have one. Flash carts that play DS games are widely available. Battery life is around 6 hours or so. You can pick up a usb cord from dx.com

Just bought a 3DS and it's been a while since I've played with a Nintendo handheld since the DS lite.

Any recommendations on a flash carts?

Flash carts that play 3DS games are still in their infancy. Look into the Gateway and R4i Gold Deluxe. There are many options for flash carts that play DS games, though. Personally, I have been using the R4i Gold 3DS. They've been good at keeping up with the updates. Anyways, if you do get a working flash cart, be aware that updates could break it, so hold off on those until you know there's compatibility.
