if you look on the BB website it shows all stores have stock |
I hooked mine up yesterday night. It's pretty neat. Can talk to the kinect to turn everything on and off. Pretty cool. I played forza 5 for a little bit, it seems alot harder than Forza 4. The whole game mechanics are slightly different. Feel like a n00b again |
i think there's plenty of xbox one stock available at most store. only one that's going to be sold out and not restocked are the day one edition. it's not that big of a deal but if you want to have a some what "limited" edition if you are a collector then ya. |

What happened to the good'ol days when a new game meant more content rather than less? |
some guy posted this online says he found it in his xbox one drive http://d24w6bsrhbeh9d.cloudfront.net...A1rzP_700b.jpg |
Finally got my Xbox One Day One Edition. Day Six Edition. Fuckers. |
both systems sold out everywhere in Calgary. |

get a PC to get games that come with free DLCs from the likes of Valve...free user created contents as mods etc..it adds so much value to the game |
So any problems with the launch editions. I'm actually thoroughly impressed with this XBOXONE launch. I've heard of no major issues surrounding the launch? How do you guys like the system so far? I'm a Playstation guy but definitely as far as launch systems go and how ready the system was for release I would have to say XBOX > Playstation. I know Sony is planning updates for the PS4 to release more and more new features within the next year. But I've heard from everyone that got an XBOX so far that it's been great out of the box. The UI, the facial recognition system, voice commands all working flawlessly and games. No major hardware issues either. The only negative I've heard but It's only in regards to a view games are the graphics, but it's still far too early to tell. |
Yeah it's interesting that when all these PS4 issues came up, people just blamed social media.. but when NO issues come up, isn't that a good sign? :suspicious: Obviously people aren't chiming in saying "everything works fine" but you don't see threads posted all over the place of broken Xbox Ones... oh well Also interesting that it is selling so well despite being underpowered and more expensive.. not that it matters whatsoever, it's just interesting how things have turned around for them after that dreadful announcement. |
I have both. I play my xbox more for the time being. I like the feel of the controller more. Haven't had any real issues yet. Only annoying thing is the voice commands only work for me half the times. |
Yeah the only bad thing I've really heard about the Xbox one is the voice commands are hit and miss Posted via RS Mobile |
The xbox one has an issue with bad drives but like the ps4 those issues seem to be limited to a small batch that and some other minor issues are about it (like voice commands being hit or miss) except for the european launch ones last i heard there was no fix for the frequuency differences with their tv feed so there's lag/stuttering issues |
I have both. IMO, Xbox seems to have a some big early launch issues.
The good? Menu is alright. It takes awhile to get use to. Once you do, I do see how this can be a productive and useful menu system. However, the menu is not as snappy as the PS4. New controller IMO is better than 360. Debatable for most. Playing BF4 and Dead Rising. I do see a noticeable difference in graphics. |
I don't use my Xbox one for watching TV at all. Its purely a gaming system for me and should remain one. |
I read somewhere that watching tv through the Xbox one degrades the quality of the feed, any truth to that? Posted via RS Mobile |

As far as the (G)UI, the PS4's seems too simple, like it's missing a bunch of icons and content. I know they are all there but you have to cycle through menu's to find stuff such as how the system settings are laid out. MS always had a knack for creating amazing UI's. I am personally not gonna buy an XOne but would definitely like to check out my friends. |
always been a xbox 360 guy myself but really leaning towards a PS4 right now. following this thread to help me decide lol maybe ill just wait until destiny comes out :fuckyea: |
meh i haven't played the xbox one except the killer instinct demo they had at bestbuy.. still trying to decide if i want to keep it or sell it.. still sitting in the shipping box it came in.. hard to believe xbox one is selling well when there's no stock in store yet i'm having a tough time selling my bnib day one edition at cost? |
Here is a tip for anyone having issues with voice commands: When setting up the kinect, crank the volume on your tv/surround. They ask you to turn the volume up, but go way past that. It will have an easier time picking up your voice over ambient sounds. |

BTW, for the record I'm not lumping you into that as I don't know why you bought yours but there are so many people that bought for no other reason then flipping taking them out of the hands of people who actually want the damm things. I get it, free market supply and demand and all that shit but same with ticket scalpers I love seeing them take a loss, fuck em. |
^^^ except xbox/ps4 purchasers can simply return them thanks to the extended holiday returns |
What's included in the Xbox one package? Does it come with the dancing game that I see at metrotown? Mainly wanted to try that game with frds LOL. |
the microsost store in metrotown always had in stock. Never sold out since launch. But otherwise everywhere else, it was pretty hard to get. |
