from the 40 second board play it was obv they were playing to preserve the lead and its just such a bad habit its painful to watch, glad they got the win but man i wish they'd stop doing that

The team just takes its foot off the gas for some reason after they get a lead in the game. This happened in their road game against Carolina.

I was at the game, the third period was brutal for the Canucks. We were lucky the Yotes didn't score late in the third, they certainly had at least a couple of quality chances. I was sitting behind Lou & almost had a couple of heart attacks, especially when one shot just missed the net & hit the glass hard. They definitely need to wake-up when they have a lead.
