I still prefer Horvat with the 9th selection

Do you still prefer Hartman with the 24th selection?

Nichushkin def. looks way better than he did during the first month and a half of the season

Way too early to judge..

..but we've said the same about Kassian so :fuckthatshit:

Lol i remember the Kopitar draft clearly. The entire tsn panel couldn't believe kopitar fell that far down being picked up by the Kings. He was rated #1 euro skater.

I remember being on Canucks.com during the draft and EVERYONE was so happy that we'd be able to draft Kopitar :lol

Even if we'd drafted Kopitar, we were too deep at C and he would have gotten buried... our team never takes risk, the market is too big here... you can only get away with that in rebuilding towns or teams with less media. Let's face it, the ONLY standout star rookie we've ever had was Bure. We've inherited anyone else who was great in trades or taken like 5 years to "ease them in" like the Sedins.

That said, I honestly don't understand how Stan Smyl still has a job. How can you go to your performance review every year and say your track record has improved? LOL

Pretty brutal effort by Paterson in net for Canada, couldn't stop a thing and got embarrassed twice in the S/O. I expect Fucale to start next game.
