If you look at his production broken down into 3rds of the season, his production in OCT-DEC is around 0.65 ppg and drops down to about 0.3 in JAN-MAR and APR-JUN.

Horvat with 1G 1A in the prelim WJC game today. He was centring McDavid and Reinhart and the 3 looked really good together. McDavid is a very, very good hockey player.

Shink cut from the WJC squad, injured at the wrong time. Too bad.

Shinkaruk has been battling a hip injury all year and now he has a shoulder injury, too. I'm not surprised by the cut, but it shows how much heart he has to be playing through this stuff to represent his country.

Will he remain on the taxi squad or are they going to send him back? Would be nice for him to get a couple weeks of rest in Europe.

Pumped for today's game! Hoping to continue a good start to the weekend! Buddies bday tonight, lost power at work today (snow day!!) and early xmas gift from the GF last night!
