Leino had such a fall from grace. I remember when everyone was just oozing for him as a UFA. But it's not like it's a novel story. Just this year, Clarkson has 5 goals and 6 assists and carries a cap hit of 5.25 mill.

Lol such a nice way to be fired, not necessarily terminated, just that the contract wasn't renewed. AND offered another position within the organization.

Depending what the position is, I'm sure Trotz will have no trouble finding a job anywhere else in the league.

Highlights from what I remembered.

Daniel said he couldn't lift his head up. He was scared so he didn't move. He felt reassured that his fingers was moving. Left the hospital last night after some scans that showed it was nothing.

Henrik - Finger was a problem in faceoffs. Ribs was the problem for not going to the Olympics.

Bieksa - Believes in this team. Actually all of them do.

Kesler - Didn't demand trade. Love this city. Doesn't know if he needs a specific winger. Coachs/GM job.

SJ and LAK gonna go to war... i dont know if either teams will make it out 100% after that series

Ehler has an incredible shot and has speed that scouts haven't seen since Bure or Gaborik. Dude is quick and skilled. He's exactly what this team lacks in offensive prospects.

You'll likely hear a lot about Virtanen over the next few weeks because he's a local boy. A lot of scouts have him peg just outside of the top 10
