The Canucks came out after the Oilers team spent their moment with their captain Smyth.

Every player single file led by Henrik to congratulate Ryan Smyth and his last hockey game.

Guys like Linden, Iginla, Smyth are the ones that truly deserve such recognition.

Linden's goodbye..overshadowed the ugly breakup with Naslund

not sure if this is a repost, but some guy is trading a pair of tickets for a decent bottle of rum...

***** CANUCKS vs Calgary Flames ***** Sun. Apr.13 - Trade for Rum!!!

Two hard-copy, season ticket holder's tickets with proof-of-purchase for Vancouver vs Calgary on Sunday, April 13th at Rogers in Section 316, Row 5 . . . all yours for one bottle of very good rum. (I want to drink enough Sunday night to forget this season.)

Rum must be delivered to Steveston in Richmond for ticket pick-up.

Rum must NOT be Lamb's, Bacardi, or Captain Morgan. (This is not negotiable.)

Rum can be Appleton's Reserve, any Caribbean import, or better (at least 750 ml).

Face value of both tickets is $200, I paid $120 . . . the rum should be valued at $50-$60 (minimum). Best first offer takes the tickets.

What a joke....

I rather have the rum. Who wants to go to a game where players are going to half ass it. The only sliver of hope is the jerseys off their backs thing at the end.

Just looked at the standings and it doesn't seem like the Canucks have anything to gain by losing tomorrows game since Calgary is at 77Pts and Canucks are at 81.

we'd stay at 81 points, so if Carolina wins, we'd get 6th. if we win against Calgary, we'd be 7th

We need Carolina to beat Philly and Canucks to lose against the Flames

Flames would end up 5th and we'd end up with the 6th pick

excited to see Rangers vs Flyers should be a good series along with Detroit vs Boston should be another good series

Mike Oxbig 04-12-2014 11:54 PM

Top 5 picks are no brainer picks. Im just worried the Canucks gonna pick off the charts on the 6th or 7th pick.

:okay:

So if the Canucks win the cup next year (which won't happen, but for the sake of argument) and then proceed to win only 3 playoff series over the next 25 years, you'd be okay with that?

This city has been freaking the fuck out because we only won 3 playoff series over the previous 3 fucking seasons ... let alone 25 ...

As long as we win a cup in my lifetime I'd be happy :fuckthatshit:
