Cousin can not remember his name, he messaged some of his friends to find out.

I'll get a buddy of mine who is a cop to have a look as well.

likes2jeep 12-15-2013 10:58 AM

He was 5' 6 or 5' 7 . Dark hair, dark eyes, pale skin. Black hoody, white baseball cap, gray track pants. His passenger was a blonde girl, same height with red jacket or hoody. Thats as much as I remember.

the fact that he pulled off his license plate to do the deed just made it that much more scumbag.

by the way spitting is a form of assault..if you spit back does it count as self-defense

I knew RS would be the place to ask for a blinged-up car like that ;) Welcome to RS, likes2jeep :)

KO7 12-15-2013 11:11 AM

He pulled that cowardly move with possibly his girlfriend in the car? She's probably a real winner too.

likes2jeep 12-15-2013 11:47 AM

As I told before, I am not looking for a play date. That wasnt an efficient settlement for me when I was his age. All I want is for him to pay the damage he did to my jeep. He scratched my jeep like a manly man and I am sure he enjoyed the moment, and now he needs to come forward and pay for the repair like a man. And he will pay for it.

Thanks for the shares. The search is over. I found him. RCMP and my lawyer will take care of the rest...

Anyways, I am in North Van often, I will keep my eyes open.

nothing like getting an assault of a minor charge

Gotta love the internet nowadays. Good news that the scumbag is found. Sorry for the wuss comment, I can understand not wanting to get physical and making others learn the hard way....I just don't know if my patience would have endured like yours did, likes2jeep. Good on you.

I knew you'd find him eventually. Deep Cove is a small enough community, I grew up there. Glad to hear a resolution is hopefully coming your way.

I find it superfluous to retain a lawyer in situations like this. We are in Canada.. law enforcement and criminal justice are done via RCMP then forward to crown counsel. Personal lawyer can't do anything to expedite things. I thought if RCMP officer is looking up the database for "friends" in posts like this.. they get into trouble? especially posted in such a public forum, either way it is logged?

ICBC will be paying for the damages either way. Once RCMP is involved, I don't think you can just get the person to "pay the bill".. because now ICBC is involved. Granted now the OP won't need to pay the deductible.

It seems the OP might want to spend free deductible on some de escalation training. Getting spat on is one thing.. spitting back basically takes away your credibility in court.

no it wasnt revscene that helped me to find him. I found him through my own sources but I am glad that I have met Revscene community in the process. All these events and meeting you guys gave me an excellent video idea. If i end up with a legal settlement with this guy, I will ask for a forced participation in this video. He might get humiliated a bit in the video and it might open all new doors for him.

I agree on that I am 45 and still having difficulty to turn the other cheek. Patience is a good virtue. Hopefully he wont spit back when he is 45.

I can't believe he was so furious over a parking spot that he also took the time to remove his license plate while you went shopping but I'm glad you found the scumbag.

soysauce 12-15-2013 01:24 PM

Good to hear you found him. It must have been extremely hard keeping your cool and such...last night i had some ape'raged bmw driver (no offense to bmw drivers) in his late 40's cut me off and pull a reverse on me for no reason. He opened his door wanting to get out but his wife strangled him to stop lol.

Tis' the season to be jolly people! Quit the /rage.

Anyhow, remember to update us!
