Cops don't do much in any situation I had to make a police report when the contractor working on my grandparents house told my dad and I that he was going to kill me. Police basically said they can't do anything about it even though we had it recorded.

All they said was to watch my back and be careful

i'm sure a quick search of the individual in question in a police database would show that he has a history of threats and violence. we were able to gather that this individual has a history of criminality through a publicly available cso search, i'd venture a guess that a look into an RMS would reveal much more detail.

what zegerman did was troll-ish but the threats against his life and his family could be real and as such should atleast warrant a note being made vs hanging up and tossing the file in the shredder.

So god forbid... But what happens if this guy is a complete loony, and makes good on his threats? The same threats that were reported to the police, but they did nothing. That would do wonders for there already tattered public relations... Oh, and think of the lawsuit?

In the end though, the owner of the Jeep found the guy. There is really no need for anyone else to be in contact with the suspect, and to be harassing him and his gf.
