I can't think of a better idea than buying a 7 series from someone who has the quality taste to put those wheels on it. I bet they maintained the car with OEM parts at all of BMWs suggested service intervals.
Regardless though, I hope the car works out for you and you can clean it up a bit. At least you've already got the taste to put some OEM wheels back on.

zyzzz 04-07-2014 11:13 PM

Believe it or not it was actually maintained very well. Nothing wrong with the car at all at this moment other than the wheels and and a ridiculous louis vutton headliner i will be getting rid of ASAP.

I'd stick with those wheels. I think they really suit the rat bagged, whalley rich look of that seven series.

:suspicious:

I have to agree

fliptuner 04-07-2014 11:29 PM

The wheels and headliner would've made me turn around and look elsewhere.

Hopefully, this wasn't your view of the seller as you drove off...

ae101 04-07-2014 11:33 PM

whats wrong with LV headliner, u no like being ballen :troll:

zyzzz 04-07-2014 11:37 PM

Lmao my mom said to me, " Why dont you keep the headliner!!! You will get all the brown pussy in surrey!! " Lmfao. Yea, FUCK THAT. I Just want a clean original e38. The thing doesn't even have a single missing pixel, and the front cupholder isnt even broken. i just got super lucky with this thing. Either going to get style 37 or 95 OEM Bmw wheels.

multicartual 04-07-2014 11:38 PM

Haha my E36's headliner is completely ripped off, was thinking of getting this printed on cloth and then hiring a company to make it fit:

This is either an elaborate joke or the epitome of every negative Surrey stereotype ever.

That's not what we meant.

What we meant is that the mods that are currently on the car reflect the previous owners taste in vehicles and mods, and most likely give us an accurate depiction of his shoddy maintenance record.

I'm hedging my bets that you are going to end up sinking atleast 5 grand into that thing for all the wrong reasons. (meaning you will be doing maintenance items instead of having fun modding).

It's interesting that you specify the mods as reflective of Hinduism, rather than Sikhism, Janism, etc. May I ask, what about them suggests this?

There's no way this car was not thrashed. I think we're all a little scared for you.

I am prepared for things to break and im just waiting on em so I can learn more about the car. guess im gonna lean from my mistakes ! Thanks for all the negative feedback everyone!

I got the same feedback from my family when I bought my car. I bought my E46 M3 by myself for my 19th birthday. 4 years later here I am with the same car. I love my car and plan on keeping it until the E93 becomes a bit more affordable.

As long as the car you bought is in good condition, you'll love it. The only irregular maintenance I had to do on my car was the rear subframe being reinforced which wasn't that bad at all. BMW's are amazing cars. Very reliable if kept in good shape.

Good luck with your 7 series :toot::toot:
