I dont think it was a great choice as a first car but fuck some of you guys need a better hobby than trashin a guys first car.

We started off trying to help him, providing insight into why it may not be a suitable first car. We tried to stop him from making the same mistakes we made when we bought our first cars.

The OP then brought the rest upon himself with his "holier than though" attitude.

Hey, it was my first car(s) too. Felt like I should warn the guy. These cars suck ass unless they are a 94-95 4.0 V8 or 99-01 V12. Even then, they're only marginal.

Despite the attitude that OP had initially, he still actively responded to people. Like when I was curious about the headliner, he went and take a pic of it. He's definitely a proactive forum member.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing him starting a journal and see his journey into saving a Surrey'd out car.
