How many k? I'm pretty sure I've seen this car around, back when I lived in Surrey.

Too bad it's the short version. Mine had the headliner redone in black suede. Looked nice.

You saw the LV headliner and you still bought it? :lol

You bought a car with a Louis Vitton headliner. That's all we need to know.

We started off trying to help him, providing insight into why it may not be a suitable first car. We tried to stop him from making the same mistakes we made when we bought our first cars.

The OP then brought the rest upon himself with his "holier than though" attitude.

Phil@rise 04-15-2014 09:59 PM

I'm not talkin bout that. I made the same suggestions. I'm talkin bout the hate following the purchase. How would any of you like a group of people hatin on your first car? Get a fuckin hobby to occupy your time cus its apparent some of you are bored.

How would any of you like it if a group of people began to hate on your first car? You all need to get a fucking hobby to occupy your time, as it has become apparent some of you are rather bored.

:troll:

Hey, it was my first car(s) too. Felt like I should warn the guy. These cars suck ass unless they are a 94-95 4.0 V8 or 99-01 V12. Even then, they're only marginal.

Geoc 04-16-2014 09:04 PM

Despite the attitude that OP had initially, he still actively responded to people. Like when I was curious about the headliner, he went and take a pic of it. He's definitely a proactive forum member.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing him starting a journal and see his journey into saving a Surrey'd out car.

Mr.C 04-17-2014 05:00 PM

This is the car he bought, I think:

2000 BMW 740i SPORT (NO TRADES)

It's not a bad start. Drop the ghetto wheels and buy some Schnitzer wheels (preferably mine, wink-wink, nudge-nudge), get rid of the headliner and you have a very cool ride.

Until shit starts breaking.

"This beauty always gets stared down by other drivers on the streets while it roars down a lane."

Probably because they think you're a massive douche

not because they're jealous of your 15 year old 5k car

Student owned and student admits that they couldn't afford it. Possibly a 'bought not built' car that's just being passed around :heckno:.

When I saw that side view, I couldn't help but think of this coming out of those Western Family Subwoofers.

fliptuner 04-17-2014 05:56 PM

I saw this ad the other day and thought it'd be a better candidate. Older, yes but cheaper, less than 1/2 the mileage and unmolested.

Bmw 740i sedan

Is that a handicap sign in the rearview mirror of the car he bought?

I had no idea being from Surrey was now formally recognized as a handicap, good to see those who need help are now receiving it...
