Battery drains really fast. Is not an issue when I am in the office but sometimes when I go out and I haven't charge the phone in the afternoon I have to charge for a bit first before going out. I image if you don't have access to an outlet all day you might have some issue if you want to use it for 12+ hours.

Screen is not as bright at 1+1, Iphone or even samsung. Is fine indoor but outdoor even with a bit or a sun is hard to see the screen.

Honestly there hasn't been a glaring omission imo. I don't care for a QHD screen, and if anything leaving it at 1080p really helps with the phone experience and battery life. The screen could be brighter though (again, doesn't affect me much).

If I really really dig for a few cons, it's that the phone seemingly scratches easier than my S3. They're very light, but compared to my 3 year old S3 the stock OP3 has more faint scratches. I don't use a screen protector, so if you planned on one then this is moot.

I do wish that the phone was IP67, but at the price it would've been a luxury and not a glaring omission.

I use an Anker QC 3.0 charger because I'm too cheap for the Dash car charger. Honestly it charges fast enough to get me out of a bind if I'm in one.

I also thought QHD might affect battery life, but my Axon 7 just went through 6 hours of screen on time two days ago with 10% battery left.

Edit: forgot to mention Axon 7 has a 5.5" display at QHD resolution.

I just use a normal 2.1/2.4A usb/cigarette lighter charger for when I'm in the car and if I really need a charge. In my case, I don't see the need for a higher output than that.

Only one thing I dislike about my 1+3, being an owner of the phone for 3 months so far.
The Bluetooth volume. It isn't as loud for some reason. It's a known issue as if you google OnePlus 3 Bluetooth volume you see people talking about rooting the phone to make Bluetooth music playing or voice applications louder. Not sure why it was set so low
My other nuance was the placement of the power button on the phone. It is placed about 2/5ths from the top, which wws a bit lower than what I was used to but now I see it is a common thing with these newer phones. Not sure why it had to be this way but I've finally gotten used to it a few months later.

New oneplus 3t out today.

http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/11...tarting-price/

Looks kind it's 40usd more, bigger battery, faster processor and better front camera. An additional $40 to upgrade to 128gb.

Will probably return my Op3 that finally came in the mail yesterday and get this.

Nice! I've had the phone for a little more than 1.5 years now and it is still working great. Battery life is good still, phone is just starting to slow down (I'm a very heavy user). Will definitely upgrade to the 1+3 from all of the great reviews

Seem like they're taking out OP3 out of the NA market.
You can only buy OP3T.

“The OnePlus 3 is currently going end of life in North America and Europe,”

OP3 and T3 to get software updates at the same time, says OnePlus | MobileSyrup.com

$599 CAD.
Is this going to be the end of the budget phone for OnePlus?
The price just keep going up!

The OPO is a tank. Only reason I switched to the OP3 was because part of my screen stopped working after I dropped it. How much are screen to DIY repair it?

same here, submitted about 36 hrs. they said response within 24hr.

they probably backlogged, guessing most of the people who are within the return period are returning.

Yesterday I did a live chat with an agent and he said 2-3 working days.

Got an email sometime after midnight with the info on shipping it back. Overall almost 36 hours. So you should have gotten yours now too.

I'm guessing alot of people lucky enough to be within 15 days are sending it back in to get the 3T
