128gb ships within 5 weeks. I'm still super iffy about DHL tho...

Not sure if this was covered before but can someone please comment on the 3Ts overall display. I've been reading that the one plus one is actually sharper in comparison and one of the reason I want to get rid of my plus one is because of the screen resolution. The 3T is extremely well priced especially with such great specs but the poor display is throwing me off on this purchase. Thanks

unless you're super anal, you cant tell the difference between the OP3T screen and a super amoled screen. its honestly really damn good for a 1080p screen. the phone i was using before the OP3T was a Galaxy S7 and i dont have any issue with how pictures, apps etc. look on it compared to the S7.

TOS'd 12-04-2016 09:01 PM

The OP3/OP3T screen is horrible in broad daylight.

inv4zn 12-04-2016 09:19 PM

^disagree, mine's been fine in broad daylight.

There were conflicting reviews on the internet about this, so I was a bit iffy, but the screen gets plenty bright enough.

same here, at full brightness its just fine. obviously not as good as a super amoled screen but its good. the nexus 6p screen in direct sunlight is HORRIBLE.

TOS'd 12-04-2016 09:37 PM

At full brightness it gets usable, I usually have it on the very low end and when I find myself outside, its difficult to adjust it to full brightness to make it usable.

Thanks for the info guys!

lol, what?

So you have your screen set to dim and can't see shit outside, but find it difficult to use the default android brightness slider to make your screen brighter, and therefore, the screen is horrible in daylight?

Been looking into the Oneplus 3T to replace my N5. However, I prefer to use my phones as is, so accidents do happen once in awhile. Sorry, never used a Oneplus before. So just want to know if repair shops around town have replacement parts available? Or does this thing need to be babied 24/7?

6o4__boi 12-05-2016 09:51 AM

both shipping within 5 weeks now
:heckno:

looks like i'll be hanging onto my phone for a while longer lol

+1 for the OP3. I set my screen to auto and outside you can hardly see the screen unless you manually adjust the brightness to near max. But then when you do that when indoor is too bright and you have to manually adjust. Which is annoying.

Don't have this issue with any other phones I use. Heck even the 1+1 screen is fine when brightness is set to auto. Not sure when 1+3 screen is so dim.

my wife had her oneplus one screen and digitizer replaced at jp cellular. chances are they might also have the 3T parts.

vitaminG 12-08-2016 07:46 PM

ya i been finding the op3t brightness to be annoying. i constantly have to turn it up while its in auto. did not have this issue with previous op1, although the screen is much nicer than my op1

nope, all of that is factored into your final price at checkout. you will not have to pay duties.

that being said, i've returned my OP3T. it just wasn't cutting it for me. going to stick with my S7 and see what samsung has up their sleeve for next year. i really wanted that damn note 7..

Planning to upgrade my OPO to OxygenOS over the break now that it seems like cyanogenmod is pretty much dead and there will no longer be support for it.

What's the easiest way to backup data and apps for a clean wipe and new install?

trip 12-27-2016 08:33 PM
