Anything I can do?

Anyone else having other issues?

I just updated today too. So far I don't seem to have your problem. Tried restarting it?

4G (recommended)
3G
2G

So basically I cannot even make the phone attempt to connect using LTE as I was able to before. My speed tests confirm that I am no longer getting LTE speeds.

I used to get 67mbps/37mbps and now I'm only getting 23mbps/5mbps

Pretty frustrating and I've searched online but nobody else to have this issue. Or maybe I suck at searching.

Google indicates this is a known issue dating back to CM12.1

The recommended fix:

https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/u...thread.349560/

For me, the fix did not restore the "LTE (recommended) option" so I forced LTE by modifying step 3 - in red:

Step 3:
Go into phone and dial *#*#4636#*#* and choose Phone Information. In Phone Information set the Preferred Network Type to LTE only. Turn off the radio. When the radio is turned off, turn the radio back on. Go down to the SMSC and hit "Refresh" and then "Update".

This will not add "LTE (recommended)" as an option. However, if you run a speedtest you should see a significant improvement.

Had to do a factory reset and that fixed the problem...

mk1freak 02-17-2016 11:10 PM

Not gonna use it, its shareable so first to pm can have it.
its good to redeem for four more days from the time of this post , and then once redeemed you have 48 hrs to purchase.
Cheers!

anyone experiencing battery issues when their wifi is on? mine gets really hot sometimes and even just on idle for 2 hours it would lose about 15% of battery.

How are the 1+2's so far? Looking at getting it as a gift for the lady

Szeto 03-22-2016 07:59 AM

^you might want to search up on the forum, I know the problem i had on my 1+1 also exist on some of 1+2. The problem i had was audio related where I couldn't get any sounds coming out of my phone and there were a lot of suggestions on how to fix it but none worked. If your lady likes a smaller sized phone then OnePlus X or even the new iphone se would be a good alternative.

jerche 03-28-2016 05:41 PM

just cracked my oneplus one screen and now it's not useable. any recommendations where to get it fixed and the price? preferably near gastown/tinseltown/chinatown area..was looking around it seems to hover around 100-150...that's kinda ridiculous...maybe getting a new phone may be a better route...a used one on craigslist is $200 =S

HTC back + Samsung front + Iphone button = 1+3!!!!

Order my anyways since I need a new phone. From reviews people are saying 1+3 seems pretty good.

m_coupe 06-17-2016 10:25 PM

hopefully this is not too douche-y. my oneplus 3 will be here monday or tuesday, after i ordered it last week i immediately thought why? i know there is 15 days to return it, but thought if someone here really wanted one....

after tax it came to 581.28 i think or thereabouts. if anyone want is they can have it for what i paid, call it 580 cash, i wont even take it out of the shipping package and it will stay shrink wrapped in the box.

jeedee 06-18-2016 09:33 AM

^damn buyers remorse already? :lol

Mr.HappySilp 06-21-2016 09:27 PM

Got my 1+3 today. Feels a lot lighter than then 1+. Thinner too. Feels really quick. I use a USB charging hub and I was able to top the phone from around 40% to full in less than an hour.

Screen looks decent but not as bright as the 1+1 color looks warmer to me. Will update after I use the phone a week or so. So far it seems like a good buy.

Just don't expect to be as good as the S7. I came from using a S5 and is day and night. The S5 would lag and battery would die in the middle of the day if I don't charge AROUND NOON.

1+3 seems way better so far and oxygen OS looks very lightskin with some useful feature

Heroo 07-01-2016 03:32 PM

how do you pros find the 1+s(1+3) i need a new phone and have been thinking if should pull the trigger or not,my one concern is coming from a nexus5 this might be TOO big add on top i want to add the tudia case to it,how do you guys find it? and what can it be compared too ? any feedback would be greatly appreciated !

heisenberg 07-02-2016 02:40 AM

the phone is roughly the same size as the new nexus 6p, iphone 6+. I fit generally a large size glove, and my thumb can pretty much reach the whole screen.

i came from a nexus 4 to the 1+1, then the 1+2, and i cannot go back to a smaller screen.

In my personal opinion, the 5.5 inch screen is the sweet spot for me.

when i got my 1+2, i got the bamboo backing for it, and the phone became very slippery, and i dropped it within the first week. I later got a case for it, and it probably adds about 2mm on each side, and its still comfortable in my hands.

if you have a friend with a iphone 6+, it would be the best feel to the new 1+3, with the full aluminum backing and roughly the same size

m3thods 07-02-2016 07:25 AM

Got my OP3 a few days ago. Feels great in my hand (and I have smaller hands). Personally I find it between the 6 and 6+. The weight is light, but it feels sturdy and substantial in my hand (read: It doesn't feel cheap). To me, there's a substantial difference between the OP3 and the 6+/6P. I find them too big for my girly hands. For me the 5x is the perfect size.

Went with the OP3 because I update phones every 3-4 years and wanted something a bit more future-proof spec wise. The price difference is so small that it made the decision easier. The OP3 isn't that much more expensive.

So far I have no complaints. Everything is set up the way I want. It has some extra settings that make it better than stock Android (dark mode being the best for me). Phone is as quick as anything out there, and I don't push it enough to see the RAM complaint or the screen complaints. The phone is slippery, so I went with a sandstone back and it's perfect. All in all very happy.

Note- I have other Nexus devices in the house, so Android updates wasn't as big of a need as it might be for some people.

Heroo 07-02-2016 12:08 PM

Perfect, Canada Post back at it again with em strikes ,guess ill have to wait in till theyre finished:okay:
