it also appears to be a US car, judging by the cluster layout

The Producer 03-18-2019 01:56 PM

all 95's are US. and S50 3.0 and obd1

least desirable year of the least desirable m3

HOLY 1000 PAGES! I bet I've clicked 95% of the links in this thread.

Keeping RS relevant for five years. GS8 - I may not always agree with your ideas of a "good buy" but thank you for starting this thread man. It's a daily visit for me.

about 8 to 10 hours of labour. $1k clutch jobs are long gone unless you are looking for a 6th gen or an even earlier model.

Just search around and you will see the price

It looks like there's supposed to be a BMW logo in the middle of the wheel that's missing?

HonestTea 03-19-2019 10:46 AM

Looks like it but that's how these Mtech airbag wheels are.

Don’t think that T bird is turbocharged. It was originally a turbo 2.3. Now swapped to a 5.0L. Strange swap since T birds came with a 5.0 too I think?

I was going to say the same but no one on here is even remotely in the market for a thunderbird turbocoupe so who cares lol

snowfarmer 03-19-2019 05:43 PM

That Miata is a great deal, less than 1/2 the cost of an FM build. Seller calls it a sleeper but that is def not a sleeper! Only a person who knew nothing about cars (or a redneck who knows cars but "Miatas are hairdressers cars hurrr durrr") would think that was a slow car. 10/10 I would buy that car, if I wasn't a bit long in 2 seat sports cars right now (3 of them in the fleet right now). I'm currently on the hunt for a 6MT E46 330CI cabriolet or 328i cab (as are a couple of other people judging by the WTB posts on CL).

This thread is a daily visit for me too! Thanks GS8 and everyone else for keeping this thread alive!

I think based on VIN, it's still a Turbo Coupe but it name only. I would've kept the original motor in tact.

For less money you can get a Lincoln Thunderbird with the 32v mod motor.

I'd check for leaks though. Fluid and air suspension and all.

Feeling cheeky, I was just about to e-mail the E36 M3 greaseball again to ask about mileage only to find the posting already flagged.

I would've should've could've bought that black one in Langley that came up a few months back but was an idiot, slept on it, and been kicking myself ever since.

The dedication of the regulars who visit and post in this thread to keep it active is very impressive. 1000 pages is something to be proud of.

EDIT: Pretty cool, I just noticed that this is post number 25,000 on this thread!
