The restoration value alone far exceeds the asking price. Most of them are pretty beat up or require a tonne of work. If you are a weekend warrior mechanic and have some free time, they are simple cars to work on, but to get any of the body work back into concours/original condition would cost a hell of a lot of money. Great car if this is your kind of thing, but don't expect this to be a daily driver. Buy it, Traum. :D |

^ That's a good deal, looks like a nice stock, unmolested example, dat ride height tho. I actually like the look of the NC once it has been lightly molested with some coilovers and wheels with a bit less tuck. |

I’m sorry but if you’re buying a used 72k Tacoma you’re an idiot. (Edit* maybe not an idiot but in my opinion you’re leaving so much on the table at this price point and a dealer is basically saying you’ll eat shit and you’ll like it at this price. You’re approaching 2500/3500 Denalis (in regular times) at those prices points. Full sized, LOADED trucks. It’s a different animal but the Toyota tax ain’t at that point. It’s laughable paying 72k for a 10+ year old power train |
^ supply and demand. To each their own. I wouldn't either but if someone does, no skin off my nose. |
Everything is jacked up in price right now though. You can't compare the cost of a vehicle from a year ago to now. Go look at what a 3500 costs at the moment. $100k + taxes for a shitty pickup truck sounds terrible to me but it's what people are paying. (yes I know a Denali is a "fAnCy" truck, but to me all trucks are bland as fuck to drive) |
https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...328372856.html If the turbo's were truly just replaced and it boosts strong and isn't a total piece of shit that is a decent price for a cheap/fast/decent car. Looks like the buyer would accept lower too. |
