That Legend does NOT look like it would be any fun to restore... maybe if you're a sadist

C'mon, it doesn't look that bad Lol. What do you consider a fun restoration then? Dropping the car off to Glossy Detailing for a polish and PPF?

This looks, and is priced like a great restoration candidate... and if you are a Honda guy, the treasure hunt for NOS parts (to replace those weathered bits photographed) on ebay or through dealers is a part of the hobby - and part of the fun IMO.

I can't see much from the photos, hopefully no typical Honda rust (patch panels exist worst-case) or missing pieces. I would gladly learn to work on that V6 and Manual trans. Everyone has figured out the B and K series cars lol, would be nice to see this one saved.

There are days when I miss my Fit. Useful little buggers. Too bad it only has 2 pedals.

JDMDreams 06-24-2021 04:46 PM

^^ I want to try one but Coronas tax and fit tax is extremely strong lately

I redid my 68 Mustang and a 74 Capri and a 71 Corolla before that was ravaged by rust… it’s the lack of support and electronics that make it a nightmare… also that car looks to be full of mold on my big screen (might be harder to notice on a phone)…

Legend coupe parts are NLA and super super pricy if you can find them… no repros… and they’re complicated frickin cars… ugh…

I guess there’s a chance it could be fun but looks like something that would make me hate my life lol

Note: I might have made the mistake of looking too closely at the owners profile and realizing he’s one of those sleazy old white dudes who likes to chat up young Filipino and South American girls too… tainting my view hahahha

130k km for a $1500 Fit. I don't think it's a deterrent lol

tofu1413 06-24-2021 07:50 PM

Will be up for sale tomorrow at $4500 probably. Lol

champagne, auto, bad fuel efficiency when it's almost $2/L premium

snowfarmer 06-25-2021 06:36 AM

I love it!! Except the price. The brown wagon tax is hitting hard on this one, that would be a $7K-$8K car if it was a sedan in great condition.

I wouldn't mind as a winter car but gas is just too damn high and you have to watch for SBC and air matic issues

herman 06-25-2021 07:26 AM

On the plus side, easy to spot in a parking lot.

Pay to play. Soon enough owning an ICE car more than 4 cyl's will be a luxury, if not already.

Not particularly a good deal for an EK but Midori Green is pretty hard to find.

rust in quarters is painted over, don't know how much of the midori green in original.

77civic1200 06-25-2021 08:42 PM

Doesn't look painted over, looks like its started bubbling and hasn't flaked off yet

2014 Porsche Cayman (981 base)
asking $47.5k
101k km

https://images.craigslist.org/00N0N_...o_1200x900.jpg

Normally, I would have found this Cayman to be too expensive given the mileage. However, in the current crazy pandemic inflated prices era, the asking price is actually fairly reasonable despite the mileage. It's the original owner selling the car, and it appears to be regularly serviced, and supposedly accident-free.

I'd much rather buy a regularly driven Porsche that has been maintained than a low mileage garage queen.
