C55 is the most solid AMG you can get. NA 113 V8 with 725 auto trans is bullet proof. Only known issues which are cheap to fix -crank sensors $100 part 10min install -valve cover gaskets $100 parts 3hr labour -rear main seal $100 parts 4hr labour -engine mounts $500 parts 2hr labour It’s hard on front suspension like torque strut bushings , lower ball joints, but there not too expensive like $600 + 2hr to replace. Maintence items are not bad either. Oil change is 8L but you do it every year or 15000km. Plugs are expensive $30x16 every 100000km. Wires are expensive $50x16 Air filters $80 every 80000km Fuel consumption is 14L/100km all city driving Since it’s face lifted they fixed all the electrical issues of preface lift C32. You get way nicer instrument cluster and center console so it looks some what modern. The good thing is there isn’t an AMG tax like the M tax so you can still find them relatively cheap compared to the equivalent E46 M3. Its obviously not as engaging to drive but if your just cruising around its alright. The C32 has the POTENTIAL to make more power with mods but it’s junk in every other way compared to a C55. If your looking for a V8 sedan I don’t think you’ll find a better value. |

I saw that one, I wonder if they caught it and stopped before it overheated and warped the cylinder head. |
Sucks to have to tow it for an inspection. That could be a 4K car, or a 14k car without knowing. I’m not much of a gambling man. |
for 3 grand do the coolant system and send it |
Deleted already, what was it? BMW?:suspicious: |
'06 E90 325xi wagon, 6MT, 230,000ish km. Listed with "a thermostat/waterpump issue, the warning light is on" I guess someone felt like rolling the dice. If you want to know what it was, the URL shows it. vancouver.craigslist.org/van/cto/d/vancouver-[/url]2006-bwm-325-xi-touring-wagon/7396318047 This is why I usually try and paste in a pic and the text of the ad as well as the hyperlink when I post ads for cars that I think are good buys (or just interesting) on the thread. |

Wow nice parking garage |
Hmmm I think that green lambo used to be my neighbour actually. If the R8 is a cab as well it definitely was. Haven’t seen them around lately though. |
$900 sounds really low if it's in halfway decent shape, what horrors lurk under the hood? |
