the powertrain are all GM crap right? the only thing to really watch out for are the exterior/interior bits that are pretty much irreplaceable at this point.

It's GM but they're pretty solid EcoTec engines, big boost with minor mods! donk has experience with a derivative of these. FWD is a pain in the ass and the XWD ones are scary unreliable on the XWD portion.
