He acquired a motor/5 spd tranny to swap with only 70km on both but sold them cause it was just taking up space. His engine wouldn't die, no oil consumption issues either

This thing is awesome, as far as I know about Honda's, which is absolutely nothing other than the fact I know I like ITR's and NSX's.

Not sure what it needs but that price is hard to beat if you can still drive it

Dat colour! I wish I was in a better financial position and I'd buy it for my Mom. That was her first car, but I think hers was a 66.

See I always get jealous, my mom's first car was a '68 GT500.

That teal is stunning though.

2007 Mazda CX 7 GS

179,000KM

Seller will take $6000, maybe less.

Second owner, and said it comes with all service records.

flagella 07-29-2015 05:14 AM

How's reliability on CX7 in those years?

bcuzracecarz 07-29-2015 06:25 AM

Has a speed 3 motor essentially, all depends how they took care of that motor oil change wise. I remember when I was a lot guy back for Mazda in 07 and our cx-7 shuttle had perfect records but blue smoke from so many cold starts. But depends who owner was I guess

flagella 07-29-2015 07:25 AM

Ah, I had no idea it was turbocharged lol.

Dealership shuttle cars are never broken in properly, I know by experience

I hate asshole statements like these in CL ads. Idiots who think their time is worth more than others. Fuck off. Saying FIRM is enough, isn't it?

Have you ever tried to sell something off craigslist before? If you have something priced at $24,000 saying firm you will still get calls all day offering $18,000 "cash" as if that means something. Like how else you going to pay? lease off a private seller? Or even better yet they call you saying they are 'super interested' - make you go take specific pictures of parts of your vehicle try and grind you on price then once you agree for a time to make the deal happen either a) they don't show up b) they show up with less money then agreed.

punkwax 07-29-2015 01:04 PM

I've sold tons of shit on CL. FIRM in caps is enough IMO. Or lowballers will be ignored.

Personally wouldn't buy anything from someone who writes "don't waste my time" in the ad. Unless it was an absolute steal I would be happy to pay asking for and knew the transaction would take less than a minute.

Didn't even notice the ad was from Surrey.. such a Surrey jack thing to write. :lol

freakshow 07-29-2015 01:11 PM

i think you're just being a little too sensitive to the semantics..

You might think it's fine to say "FIRM. Low ballers will be ignored". And some other guy will come along and say "what a jabroni, why does he have to mention lowballs? isn't FIRM in caps enough?? I'm not buying from him.."

knight604 07-29-2015 01:12 PM

No one gives a fuck about the word firm , when people read ads on clist , they blank that out and instantly low ball gets replaced.

flagella 07-29-2015 01:28 PM

Ya, whatever you write, no matter how much you emphasize the "firm" part, I'd still throw you a damn offer. Just a bone for u to chew on so you can come back to me after failing to sell your car because of shitty price or asshole attitude lol

Regardless of what you think of the ad, that is an excellent price. The hatches are worth more because the new STI is only in a Sedan.

I had someone who started off their email to me with a paragraph rant about how they were "a serious buyer who won't waste my time".
After them sending me tons of emails and finally meeting they tried to pay entirely with futureshop gift cards... they were honestly confused when I told them to F off.
