+1

The GLIs had been much more in price, and given the overall condition and mileage etc. The asking price is not bad at all.

As for the 337, agreed - more than what I would pay as well. Far too overinflated.

AstulzerRZD 01-07-2018 10:39 AM

Was thinking about alternatives to EP3s since the prices seem quite high. Found some Protege sedan and hatchs that seem like a good deal.

$1600 - Sedan: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/...450257689.html

"Recent work done, clutch, front strut, front/rear brake, tie rod end, stabilizer bar, timing belt water pump, crank seal. Car come with alarm with remote starter, dash cam, ... backup cam. JL speakers front and MB Quart rear with 10" sub in trunk. 17" Konig rims with new tires. HID headlight and led running light"

$2000 - Hatch: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/...441250370.html

"no accidents, all receipts, garage kept until last year. 285k - mostly highway. New brakes/callipers last year. Mounted Michelin Xice winters.

LHDs are +$35K, not in teens anymore.

TouringTeg 01-07-2018 08:28 PM

Would love a LHD FD

I figure this one is a mystery mileage basket case? It is on CL Seattle as well for 16k USD

So, where are all the STIi hatch? I’ve been watching Craigslist loosely for a while now... my fiancé loves driving my focus RS (she actually did the first 500km break in for me lol) and I’ve been trying to scumbag her into replacing her dying focus wagon with something more fun. I suggested a fiesta ST but since she has a wagon now, dropping down to a compact hatch is just too small. I’ve also been watching for older forester XT but once again it’s a rare car. Bone stock is a must for an STi, I don’t want something that was “reverted back to stock.”

Since this is a Craigslist thread, what’s the deal with this Hawkeye? Been for sale for a while and price is a bit high. Doesn’t show the ooo so probably high mileage. And the mid matched covers in the grill are quite suspect. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/...417918512.html

I've seen a lot more GR STI on sale than a FXT or GD gen STI/wrx wagon. Maybe it's a sign you should go back to the roots and pick up a 330xi like Westopher

320icar 01-07-2018 10:19 PM

If I scumbagged her into a newer car, she says she would definitely want something like my old ST (except without solid motor mounts and stiff coilovers). She loves the feeling of boost and loved my old turbonetics BOV. No rush as we should probably look for a home first, but I like being middle class and In debt

320icar 01-07-2018 11:21 PM

Not really a good buy, but if you’ve ever been to a revscene spring/summer meet you know this lime green 3 Wheeler

As cool as this might be, know that most of the local motorsports organizations will not allow this vehicle to run in their 4-wheeled events. It might be OK for the motorcycles events though.

That is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. I fear if any collisions happen especially if you collide front first; your shins will most likely spear you in the head. Hopefully you have a helmet on your you will take a helmet to the knee.

320icar 01-08-2018 01:25 PM

Pretty sure 3 wheelers fall under motorcycle laws for BC so you’d need a helmet and class 6

If anyone knows what dealer that is that would be appreciated. They seem to have a bunch of STi's for sale.
