Wouldn't most of the people driving those sorts of vehicles prefer to buy new though? And not touch something that's (eww) second hand?

Im just going to go ahead and post my own car on here :okay:

Not sure if a good buy (because of rebuilt status, if that matters to you) but does anybody know whose car this is?

Depends why it's a rebuilt, and how long you plan to keep it.

saw/heard a C63 this morning. Happy to see them drop to (under) 30k

Obviously only a good buy if the pesky issues have been dealt with.

Been for sale for 4-5 months. Amazing cars, but damn are the headbolts a scary issue.

dark0821 12-17-2017 10:03 AM

^ thank god for that R63 DIYer video/thread... honestly didn't know much about the headbolts issue before that blow up....

And then the brake caliper issue with Tofu's C63...

Amazing cars... for sure... but oh god cant imagine what it'll cost to keep running

tofu1413 12-17-2017 11:02 AM

I dont recall having a brake issue with my C63.... :lawl:

i did have an idle pulley break / seize but that was about it.

Lots of tire shredding and smoking with that car

i can see the rust in the mount for the TC rod. Its in the transmission picture. I love 240z's but you can buy shitty cars that are driveable. What do you want from a 240z? Something that is stock. I dont. I want something that has a few mods to make it handle better, sound better and go faster.

"No expense was spared on the repair"................ first shot of rear-end clearly shows the back bumper improperly gapped and pushed into the quarter panel :fullofwin:

If they couldn't even get that right I'd hate to think what else is fudged underneath.

Nabatron 12-19-2017 09:20 AM

would have to see the before pictures when it was damaged in the accident to full know how bad it was...

Ad says minor rear end accident in 2016. Just a fender bender enough to write off this 40K car.

With lower kilometers, a clean title, and if the price is negotiable, I'd say this would be a better buy if everything checks out.

I hate people who put their phone numbers in a stupid format. Regardless of which, decent deal, low-ish kms.

Hondaracer 12-19-2017 03:56 PM

that car is going to be 16 years old next month.. nearing 200,000km's for over 6g's?

even for a Type S i'd say it's not great at best.

It's usually to avoid spam emails from bots, not to attract attention
