^^ definitely fake. That’s a $40k truck

GabAlmighty 09-17-2018 05:23 PM

I still think you're right BUT it's got an after market tub on it. So it's very far from original, which would easily make it $40k had it been. I still think it's fake, easily a $15-20k machine.

I think someone is trying to artificially lower the price of these Land Cruisers.

For the same reason you would've preferred to buy it then.

^ They are getting lots of interest ... updated ad:

UPDATE: Do to overwhelming interest, we will be responding to emails in the order they came in. Many are asking about rust: yes, there is rust in the 'usual' places. Interior is quite good but there's minor damage to passenger side door arm rest. Thanks.

AWESOME little car, but it's time to let it go. Soft top is in ok shape (some cracking around the windows).
5 speed manual transmission
Car is in good overall condition and runs well. As issues come up, they are dealt with (not many).

We also have a hard top for this car (red) in very good condition. Selling separately for $1000.00

We will not respond to low ball offers.

The trifecta!!!

I'm still kinda disappointed that Gab sold his 240 wagon.

TjAlmeida 09-19-2018 03:58 PM

Has anyone ever gone to look at this s14 240sx? It seems it has been posted on and off for the past few months.

Damn, I wouldn't even say that that price is far off either... The weak point on those cars if I remember is the transmission (auto). That's a wicked machine.

Personally, I'd stay away with the 2013 cars. Subaru / Toyota screwed up with the ECU programming at first. I don't remember the details, but under high rpm and/or high engine loads, something is prone to overheating and melting. The damage takes place gradually over time, but eventually the engine seizes.

The ECU programming was apparently fixed in the 2014 cars. I think a TSB has been issued as well to address the problem.

vitaminG 09-21-2018 12:50 AM

^ plus gives a bunch of useless info but doesn't bother to include the mileage so probably very high

twitchyzero 09-21-2018 01:21 AM

so were the 2013s all resolved from the tsb then?
there's a revert-to-stock on facebook for 13k
has temp gauges, jah

Traum 09-21-2018 01:26 AM

As with all TSB, if the owner didn't bring it back to the dealership to receive the service, it doesn't get done. And even if it did receive the the ECU reflash, whatever damage that the engine has already sustained, there isn't any going back.
