They'll be lucky to get $1,500 for a base of the base EK with 150k and foggy headlights... they're dreaming.

way to nit-pick...foggy headlight is like a $25 + 20 min diy job

price would be right if it was a sleeper with a k-swap :derp:

Old clean Honda's are becoming hard to find. No way your going to find a clean EK with a K swap for that price on the Island.

Hi Captain Oblivious. Would the Civic be worth more than $1,500 with clear headlights? No... no it wouldn't. It would still be a base model CX with 150k on it that's worth no more than $1,500. I only pointed it out because it's even more ridiculous the dealership is asking a mint for it and couldn't be bothered to clean it up a bit.

Pretty sure (again) that everyone else reading it gets the point without me having to explicitly say it... but you're special. I'll post in crayon next time, maybe if it's in that medium, you'll cumulatively understand the whole post better instead of getting fixated on the individual parts of it.

Will trade mother-in-law for E30 M3 - $30000 (Vancouver)

transmission: manual
I have a mother-in-law in reasonable condition, have no use for her whinging any more so would like to trade her for a E30 M3.

Both are high maintenance but I would get more pleasure out of E30 M3.

Much better to look at in the garage and I just love the sound of a S14 on full song. Can't say the same for her.
Too funny.

pretty sweet buy

^ Looks like Scar from the Lion King with that hood dent... trunk sticker is from Centaur Subaru which is in Calgary... Perfect winter beater, plus they labeled it wrong on the Craigslist pull-down menus as an automatic... so might get missed by the usual manual tranny searchers.

Here's a throw back car, used to belong to someone here on RS, can't think of the user name off the top of my head

2002 V70 T5, 5 speed/manual, $2995. Might be worth a lookie. This guy always posts Volvos and Subarus. Probably high mileage because he usually lists mileage in the post if it is reasonable. But for this price, could be pretty fun.

^ That's the perfect vehicle for current VI time.

bcedhk 10-03-2018 02:33 PM

missing a zero in the price?

bcrdukes 10-03-2018 03:15 PM

Might get a VI because it's looks waaaay too stock!

snowfarmer 10-03-2018 04:17 PM

what with those mudflaps?!?! That and RWD obviously means #drifting, it's been so heavily modded, there's no way it's NOT getting a VI!

I'm gonna buy it and put on a massive wing with a huge "I EAT KALE" sticker on the underside.

Was $6500 last year, 12.5k last month, 13.8k now. Investment quality rebuilt apparently.
