If you have a rear anti-sway bar check the bushings where it mounts to the chassis.

Looking at buying a portable air compressor to pump up tires. Anyone have any experience with VIAIR 88P vs the 90P?

Clamping onto the battery seems a lot better than the ones that use the cig lighter, the first one of those that I had the plug got so hot it melted in the socket.

This started Monday after I pulled over to gas up. When I got back into my car to start it all lights came on as usual but when I turned the key to actually start the engine all that happened was it clicked once than all electrical power was lost.

A few minutes later a couple lights would come back in (but very dim) and the key remote can unlock/lock the car. I got a jump from someone and the car started up right away. I drove home (Vancouver - Coquitlam) fine.

The next morning, the same issue happened again. Turn key to start, click sound, all electric power lost. Jumping the car again started it immediately. After I got to work, I turned off my car and then started it again with no problems.

Leaving work yesterday I had no problems starting and made it home fine. When I got home I turned the car off but the issue happened again when I tried starting it.

I required another jump start today morning, but this afternoon the car started up perfectly fine after being parked for a few hours at work (I tried about 4-5 times in a row: start, run for a minute, turn off).

The battery is still fairly new (installed September last year) and there are no aftermarket stereo accessories.

A similar issue was happening last year but stopped until this week when the new battery was installed.

Anyone have any idea on what could be causing it?

Edit: Had no issues yesterday after getting a jump in the morning. Started up fine after work and when I got home. I installed a new battery just in case and will wait and see if the issue persists.

take off your sway bar and then go for a test drive, if noise is gone, you need endlinks and bushings.

i think..

^ don't need to remove it, just disconnect the endlinks and zip tie it out of the way.

even if the noise appears to be coming from the front? I should mention it's pretty faint, I can only hear it when the music is off and it's still a pretty quiet knock

If the noise is from the front, check the front bar.

^^^ make sure you clean it really thoroughly. Hot water and baking soda works well.
But you might have a battery acid leak?

Constant creaking from rear suspension when going over speedbumps and larger bumps on the road.

Parts recently installed:

TEIN Street Basis coils
Skunk2 LCAs
rear adjustable camber arms
new sway bar end links
all new OEM bushings, gaskets, top mounts, etc. essentially every suspension part was replaced with new OEM parts

The coils were installed made no sounds at all until the first rain, and started making noises which progressively got worse developing into groans and duck-like quacking noises from the right rear. The shop regreased everything but that did not help at all. The shop then took apart the entire rear suspension and put it back together. The squeaking and groaning noises subsided entirely, and the creaking became very subdued, but the creaking is still there and it's been a week since the suspension was put back together, the creaking is getting progressively worse once again. Going over speedbumps and curbs especially makes my suspension sound like it's going to fall apart.

What could the shop be possibly doing incorrectly? Or is this just something typical of coils?

Sounds like a bushing, but I can't be sure, it's definitely not typical. Has the shop tried recreating the sound or are they turning wrenches without really knowing why?
