On tv, I saw a different camera angle after the hit. It was from the Islander end looking towards Ballard on the ice. When you see the trainer waiving his hand in the air to signal the medics, that was when Ballard was convulsing. It must have been a good 5 seconds for the convulsions.

I thought the same thing, but the video I posted made him look like he was just trying to hero it and get up on his own and the trainer was holding him back. Scary if that was really convulsing because it was really pronounced.

I actually wouldn't mind watching the Flames right now lol. Rooting for them to make the playoffs.

Coho scratched tonight. Man what happened????

Renthal 12-11-2014 03:12 PM

buffalo actually makes players accountable when they play like shit.. edmonton rides them into the ground.

Spoon 12-11-2014 03:31 PM

I guess it turned out to be a pretty even trade :lawl:

At least Kassian can become a role player if he doesn't pan out. Coho's future's in the minors if he can't score playing double digit minutes.

I'm at work right now but I'll search for the other camera angle when I get home.
He was definately convulsing that or trying to do the worm.

Toews goes into the boards head first, still played the next shift but was not on the bench later in the period. Seidenberg was given a 2 minute minor for boarding

Dang that looked terrible on replay. And for a guy who's had a bad concussion already.

Seeing Kane and Seidenberg hug is pretty funny though. Not a good look for Kane but what can he do I guess.

trancehead 12-11-2014 07:28 PM

if he can punch a cabbie he can at least give Seiden(Heisen)berg there a little tap on the noggin

sucks for toews though. one of the best all around players in the world and thats the second time at least (last time i remember was Mitchell hammering him center ice) and he gets his eggs fried

In cancun right now.. Only been able to see the results from our past 3 matches.. Anyone got info on what's been going on? Injuries?

They outplayed Toronto by a wide margin, but Bernier was lights out while Miller sucked. Matthias was lost for the rest of the road trip after taking an elbow to the head.

Canucks jumped out to an early lead in Ottawa, but looked fatigued throughout most of the game. Ottawa caught back up due to mistakes and penalties, won it in OT.

Canucks looked fatigued once again in Montreal and were outplayed pretty badly. Miller kept them in it, but Montreal was skating circles around them.

Also calgary didn't pad their goal differential versus buffalo.

Sabres have won 8 of their last 11 vs some good teams, 2 vs TB, 2 vs MTL, LA, SJ. I guess no one can out-suck the Oilers for McDavid/Eichel. Enroth has been on fire, but the team really started turning it around when the brought up Zadorov and paired him with Ristolanien, Myers has also been playing really well too. Those 3 towering giant young dmen are really the biggest reason for the Sabres hot streak here

What's your point of view with what happened to Hodgson?

He just hasn't looked comfortable all year and even in camp. Nolan was set on this idea of moving Hodgson to the wing, even though he had a pretty good year at center last year, so in camp and for the first part of the season they shifted him to the wing and that was just a disaster, so they moved him back to center but he hasn't seemed to be able to find his grove again being moved all over the lineup and positions, there was a period of 6 games before his scratch were he was playing a lot better but was still snake bitten for goals/points.

To be honest, I'm not sure if he's in the long term plans right now with the emergence of Girgensons and Reinhart and Grigorenko maybe looking to make the leap at center next year. There was some rumors that Edmonton was looking at him last week as they need a center.
