Hodgson in Edmonton seems fitting somehow

Enroth has been on fire, but the team really started turning it around when the brought up Zadorov and paired him with Ristolanien, Myers has also been playing really well too. Those 3 towering giant young dmen are really the biggest reason for the Sabres hot streak here

shots 45 to 19 lol.....

Yup, been like that all year, the forwards just have horrible offensive possession stats, but the last 15 or so games, the D, especially when those 3 on the ice, while giving up a number of shots, have been keeping the quality of shots low and keeping most to perimeter and Enroth bailing out the rest.

lol i take back what i said about the sabres earlier this season...at least they're kinda trying not plunge to McDavid.

i don't even know how a team can keep sucking so much without consequences...i kinda feel bad for the oilers and their fans. their ownership and management is so hell-bent on getting at least one of the top two picks this year and hope somehow that'll fix it a la Pittsburgh.

Judging by those shots of his interview, it's silly that the Pens are keeping it hush hush.

watch the whole team go down with Mumps lol

Mumps?

WTF?

Painful swelling of the salivary glands – classically the parotid gland – is the most typical presentation.[2] Painful testicular swelling (orchitis) and rash may also occur. The symptoms are generally not severe in children. In teenage males and men, complications such as infertility or subfertility are more common, although still rare in absolute terms.[3][4][5] The disease is generally self-limiting, running its course before receding, with no specific treatment apart from controlling the symptoms with pain medication.
I guess they don't vaccinate for this anymore?

They were talking on the radio basically how the NHL culture and environment is a breeding ground for sickness etc.

Really the only sport where everyone is constantly sharing water bottles, towels, etc and then constantly getting on airplanes and eating the same food, playing card games, etc

Those poor Oilers goalies. Viktor Fasth blows a gasket and yells at his team mates after getting the hook in the second period vs. the Ducks. 3 goals on 12 shots.
Not so fast! :lawl:

Just look at this and u can see why he would be pissed. BTW. This is a game the oilers won...

pastarocket 12-12-2014 09:13 PM

The Oilers have a good chance to get the first overall pick (Connor McDavid) based on their lousy season so far.

Actually, I think they only have a 20% chance even if they finish dead last.

highfive 12-12-2014 10:19 PM

Eichel not bad either. They will get at least the 2nd pick if dead last.

Remember those old clear water bottles with the red lid and straw for you and your teammates to share? Then they said no more to those straws - rather than buy new bottles, coaches just removed the straws so you sprayed water everywhere but your mouth.

The only bright spot during the three game losing streak by the Canucks?

The four game losing streak by the Flames.

Well seeing how many Canucks 'fans' jumped ship after a poor half season, I'd be amazed if Vancouver still has a hockey team if we were to follow the Oiler model. It wasn't that long ago that there was talk about Vancouver losing the Canucks in the real dark ages.

The Oilers are like what would happen if you let the average armchair GM run a team. "We'll draft awesome players throw them all together and relive the dynasty years automatically--wait for it!!"
