not bad of a trade considering benning was handcuffed to 2 teams.
right now our team is making a transition to younger players, majority of our players are already approaching 30 and 30+. By bringing in Bonino(26) and Sbisa(24), these are our transition players that when they reach their prime, horvat and co. will already be in our lineup (hopefully).

I don't know much about Bonino, but I like this trade better than the one Gillis seemingly had lined up with Pittsburgh at the trade deadline. At least Bonino has more offensive potential than Sutter.

Garrison wasnt an overpaid player though.He still has a pretty good shot and was decent defensively. At 4.6mil it still wasnt a bad contract
