not sure if actually srs or trolling just lost our toughest dman for potentially the season and you wanna replace him with a tiny dman that's going to be in constant need of protection? The more i think of it, the dumber its starting to sound...it might've been a good idea when it was first proposed but if Kassian is ever to be traded he might as well be packaged for another forward with size and hands. Could be a blessing in disguise, give Corrado a shot to develop. Bieksa is more of a fourth forward than a dman so not much of a loss defensively If anything, we could see the team gaa go down with him away :lawl: |
Sigh....finally get back Hamhuis and now we lose Bieksa |
Dammit! Outplay Anaheim and still lose. Damn Anderson! |
Wow, that's some horrible management by the Leafs. That's a lot of overpaying for marginal players. |
the trade deadline record during the Burke/Nonis era isn't too good for the Canucks Guys like Sammy Pahlson and Eric Weinrich.. Brian Smolinski.. never panned out anyways.heres a crazy hockey dad |
Canucks need to be sellers at this year's trade deadline. We need to build up for the future since there is no possibility to win it all right now. |

And the referee watches this entire shitshow go down literally 5 feet away and does fuck all. Classy |
That's the NHL for you and how terrible the reffing is! |
Shouldn't Phaneuf get a suspension for kicking the guy? That is totally gutless, and outside the rules. Indeed classless! |
I wonder what Iginla would have to say about his ex-teammate, Phaneuf... |

At best, he is a 5/6 dman. Defensively, he has been a liability and the tell tale signs is him taking all the holding/hooking penalties this season. Plus Corrado has shown he can play in the 3/4 spot and paired with Hammer will make him better. But then we'll have to have Tanev and Edler as our top pair D, which we've been doing for a while now. Hopefully Sbisa and Weber do ok with 10-15 minutes a game as the 3rd pair. As for being a seller, there's no point when they think they are still competitive, which for whatever reason still are this season. And it looks like most of the core is the same for next year so expect the same for next year assuming the twin's play doesn't worsen too much with another year of age on them. |
