I feel the exact same way, we can't give up those 3 guys and I have a feeling McCann is going to be a great player but then again I've said that before and the Canucks haven't had good luck with prospects that's for sure.

I doubt McCann will be traded. Everytime Benning talks about him, he praises him a lot.

I don't think we can trade just prospects for Kane unless we want to run into cap problems.

I'm kinda hoping we get Santorelli from the leafs, he provided some spark to the top six before he got injured last year. No idea why they let him go but he's a step up from Bonino imo. Might be a stretch since there could be a bidding war for him as a lot of teams are interested.

Also kinda hoping we land Hanzal if the asking price is right. He'd be a good fit. Has size, has the hands and can "accidentally" put players out of commission when needed.

Evander Kane is never coming to Vancouver. GMJB threw Seguin, regardless of his talent out of Boston for reasons outside of the rink. The last thing GMJB wants to deal with is another Seguin. Besides, what makes you think Evander would stay here anyways? He is a UFA in 2018.

Yes it's blown out of proportion. They were baited with the question and being young, probably wanted to be cool with everyone.

What it shows me is that they clearly don't have a respect for the Sedins. That's their prerogative, but one would hope that for a team clearly showing trouble getting up for important games the quotes end up being bulletin board material for the Canucks.

IMO, not as bad as it seemed from the Dallas players, but it was more so the host being the idiot trying to stir something up. Benn and Seguin just kind of rolled along with the questions as the host was egging them on to give some good radio.
