That's fine, Clarkson will be like Finger and they will prob burry him in the minors next year. |
I would assume Torono would want something similar like the Kane deal but I can see JB actually making this trade on what he has said prior to keepin his picks and young guns! |
I know the draft is pretty far but I've been looking at the prospects ranking. These are pretty much the players who the Canucks can land, Lawson Crouse is probably a stretch if his play improves. I liked Barzal in the beginning of the year but he's probably gonna be picked high too. Benning reportedly took some time scout Barzal out. Lawson Crouse LW Matt Barzal C Jansen Harkins C Filip Chlapik C Nick Merkley C Paul Bittner LW Jordan Greenway LW Brandon Carlo - D Zack Werenski D Daniel Sprong - RW Personally, assuming we pick later, i hope we end up with Carlo. 6'5 198, right handed big body D because we can never have enough of those. Jordan Greenway is also pretty interesting, 6'5 225, definitely has the NHL body but probably needs a lot of time to develop. Harkins and Merkley have BC connections and are high IQ players but they would need some time to mature. Harkins can probably play sooner than Merkley. Chlapik is also pretty intriguing but i get a sense that he's gonna be a higher pick than the mid term standings. Bittner and Werenski have size and may be closer to playing in NHL than comparable prospects. Sprong because if no one else is available, who wouldn't want a legit flying dutchman on their team :lawl: |
^ Is your goal to be Benning's successor? :p |

Maybe Sharp will get traded to Anaheim to play with Kesler? :troll: |
Panthers thinking they can go on a run with moves like jagr? |
Fun facts.. Jaromir Jagr made his NHL debut on October 5, 1990. His new team, the Panthers, made their debut October 6, 1993. There will be 9 guys in the Panthers locker room that were not even born when Jagr debuted in the NHL... I wonder who Sharpie smashed haha |
