Yeah I'm not sold on vey just don't like his over all game and his softness! As for mcMillin I just don't get why we picked him up he is legit useless should have called someone up from the farm and gave them a chance!

highfive 02-21-2015 02:22 PM

Jaffray 02-21-2015 02:25 PM

For instance when Mathias was having a good game put him on the pp just like tonight with Kassian if he's having a good game ride the the hot hand. They are doing it with horvat not but vey and Higgins on the pp I mean come on...

Willie was quoted that he doesn't like changing his pp lineup because he rather have a line that practiced than throwing in a hot guy that hasn't done special team practices

As brutal as it may be. It could be a blessing in disguise. Give opportunities to the young guys to see what they got. For the past couple seasons and including this one, people have complained about not having enough youth in the line up. Well this is the chance.

At least some of them will be back before end of the season. I'd rather they be injured now as opposed to getting hurt late in the season and be doubtful for the playoffs(thats if we make it).

Totally agree on the offensive side of things, defensively.. you're fucked up the ass when you have Weber as the first defensive pairing

Hammer - Weber
Stanton - Clendening
Sbisa - Beiga

inb4 Hammer gets injured again, dude's logging 26m/game for the past 4 games now.. and that will probably continue for at least another 2 weeks, and you can visually tell he's tired on the ice

Luckily, the hockey gods have blessed us with Sbisa not playing like shit, dude's been great the past 10 games

pastarocket 02-21-2015 05:17 PM

Aw yeah, should be a good outdoor game tonight between the Sharks and the Kings.

Levi's Stadium showdown between two teams that hate each other. :fuckyea:

I am pleasantly surprised by Biega's play. Defensively, his play is very sound.
The Stanton/Clendening pairing is also working out pretty well since they played together in Chicago's AHL team.

Hammer/Weber is a little concerning. For me, Weber on the top line is an issue, but more so the number of minutes Hammer is playing especially when they put him on the PP. Thankfully we have Clendening on the PP now.

Burns scores on a sharp angle shot to tie the game up against the Kings.
Not so Quick! :troll:

Biega has been okay except against the Rangers where he was an icing machine and his giveaway led to a Nash breakaway goal.

2/3 games where he wasn't a liability isn't bad for a #10 dman, plus he got a GWG.

just insurance... Burrows could be IR...
McMillan probably coming out

SumAznGuy 02-22-2015 09:33 AM

After the 2 goals last game, I am expecting Kass to be playing with the twins.
If/when Bonino is healthy, he'll slot in and Vey will sit.
And I am expecting Jensen to slot in for McMillan tonight.

Jmac 02-22-2015 09:50 AM

Jensen was taking line rushes with Bonino (injured) and Sanguinetti (extra D) today. Probably a good indication that Jensen won't play tonight.

Kass staying with the Sedins.
