From what I saw, the prices weren't unreasonable. You're already paying $8 for a Japadog or $10 at Meat and Bread. Its on par with the White Spot prices (which they are keeping BTW). I can't tell you if they'll be as good on game day but the food was actually very very good.

Also, 30+% increase in bathroom capacity.

Please tell me it's all men's washrooms ...

Because it's like a 10:1 ratio for women's washrooms now and like a 10:1 ratio of men to women at hockey games :heckno:

murd0c 09-04-2014 08:44 PM

It's prob 30% across the board for bathroom sizes

Ronin 09-04-2014 08:53 PM

There's a whole new building with executive offices and apartments. The bottom few floors are new parts of the Rogers Arena concourse. Most of it is restaurants and bars but there's a new huge washroom area squished in between the top and bottom concourse floors. Yes, you have to walk stairs to get to it but hey, it's more bathrooms.

Unsure how they'll divide by gender. They weren't at all finished yet so I didn't see. They basically pointed to some bare rooms with bits hanging off the walls and ceilings and said "And here will be a whole bunch of new bathrooms.

I see Moore made an out of court settlement yesterday with Bertuzzi. 10 years later I may add.

Anybody know the amount?

Settlements aren't disclosed. That's kind of the point.

You are 100% wrong. You're assuming there was a confidentiality agreement? It simply means it was out of court.

tonyzoomzoom 09-07-2014 05:33 PM

terms of the settlement are confidential.

I'm stating the reason(s) FOR a settlement; Not what a settlement is.

Regardless, more often than not, settlement amounts/agreements are confidential. I would be hard pressed to believe that lawyers from the Bertuzzi camp would be willing to have that information out there.

95% of the time out of court settlements have a confidentiality agreement attached that is point of it being out of court as well. Especially if its a personal lawsuit like this one

On average, 84% of the facts you read are incorrect.

fliptuner 09-07-2014 07:53 PM

Research has shown, it's closer to 87%

punkwax 09-07-2014 08:25 PM

It's science.

bobbinka 09-07-2014 08:50 PM

senators to try a small supporter section for 10games this season, which would be standing room only. trying to create a similar situation to the many euro teams, should be interesting to see.

6o4__boi 09-08-2014 09:09 AM

eww...standing room only.

standing at sports events are for plebs and peasants.

we pay an arm and a leg for tickets to Canucks games, the last thing i want is a standing room only trend.

Klobbersaurus 09-08-2014 05:41 PM

had a guy come into work the other day wearing a canucks shirt and laptop bag, wanted an inspection done on his vehicle from texas, i told him i assumed he worked for the canucks unless hes just wearing that stuff to fit in with the locals just to joke around, turns out he did work for the canucks, it was willie desjardins

also my source that told me that linden was going to be president told me that the canucks are a better team without kesler, alot of locker room drama with him
