Hopefully all of it.

Fuck that guy

Apparently I heard on Cfox this morning that the Bertuzzi / Moore deal is $22million. $15 from NHLPA and $7 split between Bertuzzi and Canucks Orca Bay.

Hondaracer 08-20-2014 08:15 AM

On twitter yesterday read bert is 99th all time in career earnings at like 48 mill

Obviously the NHLPA and NHL would have paid anything for this not to go to court and have the "NHL culture" on trial. Too much inside info about how locker rooms run and the behind the scenes mentality would be exposed

Gumby 08-20-2014 08:38 AM

Funny how the terms of the settlement are confidential, and yet so many people are reporting what the amount settled on is! :)

Expresso 08-20-2014 09:04 AM

Small price to pay to move on.

Zordon 08-20-2014 10:00 AM

And now Steve Moore says, "What deal? I haven't settled on anything."

Moore's brother says there's no deal in place with Bertuzzi

well...it is what it is.

Did they also attend Harvard? His concussion symptoms have prevented him from pursuing a business career as well and all the potential earnings that came with it.

pastarocket 08-20-2014 10:20 AM

-hate to see this Moore and Bertuzzi dispute drag on. Make up your mind and take the money! :heckno:

Buffalo must be so choked about the Draft rule changes since they have been stockpiling 1st rounders since forever.

Ludepower 08-20-2014 08:49 PM

in ok with it
Same 5 bottom teams with high draft picks every year.
And good players have a chance to land on decent teams now.

Mike Oxbig 08-20-2014 10:48 PM

WPG, EDM, CAR, CGY, OTT, NJ, VAN

NYI trying to improve their team.. can you imagine if they just somehow barely miss the playoffs THEN wins the lottery due to this change lol... Buffalo still looking good for next year's draft IMO lol.. If they get Mcdavid or Eichel...dammmN they'll be set down the middle for YEARS

"We're starting this year with a clean slate," said McLellan. "Coming into training camp, everyone is starting with no equity – from rookies through all of the veterans."

Who is he fucking kidding...removing letters off the jerseys of two guys at the end of their careers is supposed to motivate them? McLellan will be fired during the Sharks' first major losing streak this season, I guarantee it.

JesseBlue 08-21-2014 05:04 PM

If i were joe and pat, i'd cruise along during training camp

AzNightmare 08-21-2014 08:35 PM

Just trying to shake things up I guess.
You can't really improve the Sharks as they're already a solid team.
But for whatever reason, they choke and never seem to be able to get it done in the playoffs.

Jmac 08-21-2014 10:38 PM

They wanted to trade them but they refused to waive their NTCs.

The Sharks are going to take a major dip this year. Losing Boyle and Stuart will hurt and if Jumbo and Marshmarleau feel like mailing it in this year to stick it to DW, it's not going to be pretty.
