fucking stupid how he wants $68 million when other players like Fisher and Riberio who were drafted in the same round played more games but made almost 40 million in their career.

well...it is what it is.

6o4__boi 08-19-2014 08:03 AM

pretty sure the $68 mil is more for medical expenses and the "pain and suffering" of the event rather than lost wages

but meh, least its all over now

Islanders owner Wang sells club to Ledecky, Malkin

tick tock mr. Garth snow lol

My first thought in hearing Isles sold was goodbye Garth Snow haha, great news for Islanders fans.

NHL also announced Buffalo to host the 2015 and 2016 scouting combines at their new Harbor Center, a $172 million dollar hockey development facility with hotel, retail space and state of the art training and development facilities that is connected to their arena HSBC Center. Long term goal is to have the NHL scouting combine setup in Buffalo, taking a page from the NFL and their annual scouting combine in Indy, which generates revenues and good tv ratings. Not sure if too many people in the US would watch the NHL combine, but I'm sure a number of Canadians would.

spotted: Evander Kane in matte grey Bentley on granville w16

I heard he wants to join the Panthers to help the game grow down in the south...

Probably because the owner just spent $172 mil to build a state of the art hockey training facility complex. Along with Minny, probably one of the better hockey fan crazy markets in the US. Pegula just has too much money, between his recent bid on the Buffalo Bills, First Niagara arena renos for the Sabres and donating over a $100mil to build an arena for Penn State hockey. NFL one is in Indy, similarly relatively small market compared to rest of the cities in the NFL.

Just not sure it'll be as impressive as the NFL combine, watching kids like Sam Bennett fail at doing 1 pullup haha.

Don't know if this is working or not.

But, Brians posted pictures of lacks new pads.

TSN saying settlement would be around 30 million.
Im wondering how much the Todd pays out of his pocket and how much the NHL pays?

Anyways. It's best to settle. This would of got super messy and brought a black eye to the league.
It is what it is...lets move on finally.

murd0c 08-19-2014 06:02 PM

Todd won't be paying anything, insurance should cover that. I wonder how much Moore's lawyers will take out of that chunk
