No dialup, just the banner. I made about $2K from that I think. My friend made like $15K EleGiggle

I think so but ae101 is probably younger than us so nostalgic for him is recent memory for some of us :pokerface:

I'm 28 and anything past 10years is pretty nostalgic for me

^ Shit thanks for the reminders. MGS was the first game that I was totally immersed and emotionally invested in on my PS. And that GT2 intro. So many hours spent on that shit lol

Jmac 04-17-2017 08:59 AM

GT2 = best soundtrack

Probably only behind Counter-Strike, Civilization IV, and Civilization V in terms of hours played for me. Definitely a lot more than newer Gran Turismos.

punkwax 04-17-2017 09:06 AM

Tony Hawk had a great soundtrack imo.

Can't find a decent example online to share but for some reason this morning I remembered printing party banners etc. on my parents old dot matrix printer back in the day. I remember being so impressed with the technology back then :lol

JSALES 04-19-2017 09:25 AM

I'll always remember the Gran Turismo intros, especially the Japanese versions of it since it's the first intro I saw for the game.

I also thought Ridge Racer Type 4 had one of the best intros and the graphics were too good at the time lol

A thought popped into my head the other day about somthing similar to this.

It was a thing where people bought pixels on a big board for advertisements etc and depending on how often you kept the window open you'd make more money? Or somthing along those lines I can't remember the name of it

I remember playing that in computer class, and someone figured out a cheat where you could buy a car and part it out for infinite money or something like that

Super fun games, PC games were so great back then
