GT2 = best soundtrack Probably only behind Counter-Strike, Civilization IV, and Civilization V in terms of hours played for me. Definitely a lot more than newer Gran Turismos. |
Tony Hawk had a great soundtrack imo. Can't find a decent example online to share but for some reason this morning I remembered printing party banners etc. on my parents old dot matrix printer back in the day. I remember being so impressed with the technology back then :lol |
I'll always remember the Gran Turismo intros, especially the Japanese versions of it since it's the first intro I saw for the game. I also thought Ridge Racer Type 4 had one of the best intros and the graphics were too good at the time lol |

Not the earliest games i remember playing but here are a few that stand out. Playing on the ol' 286! 64k ram baby! The origional Test Drive Stunts (They have to make another updated version of this) Commander Keen, Chuck Yagers Air Combat, Battle Chess, Kings Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest, first Simcity, Golden Axe, Heretic, Magic Carpet (mind blowing), One Must Fall, Street Rod, Wing Commander, Tank Wars and more.
