I think some KFC locations can still do extra crispy, which is also spicier. White Rock location doesn’t do extra crispy but made it sounds like others might when I asked. |
yea just order spicy. the malls like metro and oakridge dont carry spicy. can confirm broadway by fraser, knight and 41 and gladstone and kingsway have spicy. |

Speaking of Halloween This song haunts me, ironically... |
Electric Circus is bringing Aqua back to town in June 2020! The lineup is straight outta the 90s! https://www1.ticketmaster.ca/90s-nos...005782A76B4D5C |

Watched these over the holidays: The final chapter (or is it?) for the van, Doug Demuro impersonation and all. |
Was cleaning the storage room and came upon some old bowls and cups that were wrapped in fliers from Shoppers and Superstore back in 93. Also found some old board games that I used to play as a kid. Instant nostalgia. |
Not exactly sure if this counts as proper nostalgia, but I definitely felt that way as I watched the ad: Very smartly done commercial since I was definitely one of them idiot boys that did all the stupid shxt that was captured in the ad. |
Nice nostalgia trip especially if you're just staying home all weekend |
^I definitely watched that at the time. Over the years all I could remember about it was the chick from Night Court being it it. |

A lot more trees now than 30 years ago, but trade off is the high-density housing (skyscrapers) and some areas there's like zero view from the Skytrain where there was an amazing view before. My old place on Prenter St (just after Edmonds station) looked completely empty in 1990 and completely overgrown in 2020. We used to be able to see the Skytrain from our apartment, but doesn't look like that's the case anymore. |

old neighbourhood in van I could look over and see the roads, english bay and down town over a stretch of 3 blocks about 150-200m away. but the same trees now, have completely blocked any light coming from that direction. and have grown tall enough to block the mountains from the skyline. |

Found out via some old Zellers shipping labels that the Lynn Valley Centre mall was originally called Westlynn Mall... tbh the old name has a better ring to it |
In case anyone didn't watch Doug's video today... |
Lol Doug is a pretty grating guy in his videos but I give him credit he does very thorough reviews |
