LOL at the MD players. Us white kids didn't have no shit like that. haha. Anyone remember DAT players? I remember my neighbor's buddy had one in his CRX in like 1989ish. I was like WTF is that? and apparently it was "digital" quality sound or something. Blew my mind back then. Hoping anyone on here(from Richmond) remembers a white EF hatch with the plate "ungobox" or something. Dumped on Si alloys with an Ungo alarm and a killer system and no tint. Super fishbowl. Were talkin' late 80's early 90's. It was really the car that introduced me to Honda's in general. I fucking loved it! So clean. |
MD players are awesome! i had this before http://www.minidisc.org/images/sony_mze900_alt.jpg The inline remote was THE BOMB! and then I got one of these cause cd-mp3 was "better" http://s7d1.scene7.com/is/image/vann..._normal_image$ at home i had this a JVC boom box with "woofers" on the side for some extra bass http://images43.fotosik.pl/9/f70f57d0377293d9.jpg how about one of these to get online http://i01.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/112...odem_Modem.jpg |
http://kmcalumni.ca/corner.jpg although I do recall being made fun of for shopping at KMart when I was in elementary school but I have good memories running around the store or eating at the diner. :okay: http://kpolsson.com/forsale/mis007.jpg ^I remember a friend of mine claimed he bought an early mp3 player through the futureshop website for $80 when it was supposed to be listed for $800 or something like that. Futureshop was forced to honour the deal. |

I was legitimately the only kid I knew that had a MD player at my school, everyone else was just barely getting into MP3 players and iPods. Idk what you guys mean about background noise burning them though, I used to make them like you would burn a CD. I actually found mine the other day, something happened to it years ago where it stopped reading the discs :( Anyone remember these? The Osiris G Bag, my friend had one and I remember the amp being heavy as hell and sucking batteries like no other. http://lightsleepers.files.wordpress...iris_g_bag.jpg |

The actor passed away in February of this year. RIP |
My gf, who grew up after the cassette era, just came by work to swap vehicles and there's a blank cassette tape still in the wrapping in the passenger footwell. She's not sure how it got there either. Such a nostalgic mystery. |
