Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows will not stop management from making any deals.

If the Canucks want to deal Burrows, he would be willing to waive his no-trade clause, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported during the Saturday Headlines segment.

Burrows has one year remaining on his four-year, $18-million contract, and is scheduled to make $3 million next season, according to generalfanager.com

The 34-year-old has just seven goals and 16 points in 52 games this season

Friedman reported that Benning wants to rebuild but Aquilini said no again. Obvious problem is the ownership, actually thankful to the stealth tank by Benning if this is the case

I'd prefer to make the playoffs, but at this point, it's not looking like that's going to happen even if we try (if you can call tonight trying), so may as well pack it in with the trade deadline approaching and start looking to the future.

I love how CBC was literally cutting up WD for not puttin the sedins out more especially after tv breaks or offensive zone starts! I mean come on WD what kind of coach is this guy!? This team should not make the playoffs and how it doesn't...also I hope they miss the playoffs more then a couple points too! Need to get in that top 5 pick for the draft! Also fire Willie at the end of the season too!

I think it's become evidently clear that WD has no idea what he's doing behind the bench. he's good at handling of the younger players but his own the fly in game IQ is atrocious

nhl.tv has no commercials, i guess rather than cut to the game will return shortly graphic, they just run the live feed from the building. guess the mics were left on the feed

AV did the opposite, the sedins and kesler lines always started the offensive zone faceoffs even when they weren't playing well. The opposite is happening with WD where he's never putting the "top" guys in the offensive zone just for being the top guys.

The sedins can't handle end to end hockey at this age though, you can tell in the second half of the game if they lose the offensive zone faceoff or the cycle, they can't pressure on the forecheck :okay:

Kesler only got O-zone faceoffs in 10-11, when we had Torres-Malhotra-Hansen as our 3rd line. And he, unsurprisingly, had a career year. Ironically, it was also the year he finally won the Selke, despite a significant reduction in defensive responsibilities.

Prior to that, Wellwood was our 3rd line center and AV had zero faith in Wellwood in the D-zone, especially against larger centers.

After that, we had Hodgson, who we all know the story behind.
