Stealing this from Canucks.com cause I thought it was a good breakdown Record: 22-22-12, 56 points; 5th in Pacific Division, 5th in Western Conference Wild Card Unrestricted free agents: Radim Vrbata, RW; Adam Cracknell, C; Dan Hamhuis, D; Matt Bartkowski, D;Yannick Weber, D; Brandon Prust, LW; Taylor Fedun, D Restricted free agents: Linden Vey, C; Sven Baertschi, LW; Emerson Etem, LW; Alex Friesen, C Projected 2016 draft picks: 7 (1 first) Projected 2017 draft picks: 6 (1 first) Needs: Young defensemen Surpluses: Bottom-six forwards; depth defensemen Players Potentially in Play: Vrbata, Hamhuis, Weber, Prust, Higgins, Burrows The only UFA I could potentially see coming back would be Hamhuis. Everyone of those guys are as good as gone. |
You know Bartkowski is coming back. 100%. Dude is made of Teflon here somehow. Infuriating. |

What do you think are the chances of the coach getting fired at the end of the season? Willie stay or Willie go? :troll: Bartkowski won't be made of Teflon anymore if WD is not behind the bench. He may not be back with the team that has a coaching change. :lawl: |
The only way WD is back is if he makes the playoffs! If Canucks lose bad in the next couple months hes good as gone! |

Bring back the Crow, with Matthews in his suitcase. |
I honestly think that Bartkowski is only getting those minutes and opportunities to play as much as he is right now because it's Benning & Willie's plan for a subtle tank approach. That's got to be one of the main reasons why they've continued to play Vey in important situations while taking all the shit that they've gotten from the fans and media. http://www.vancourier.com/pass-it-to...ence-1.2176826 Oh god. Read all the stats on Bartkowski and just how absolutely horrible he is :lol |

Tanking in stealth mode. I like Benning and WD's plan. |
holy shit...i never realized how big Nick Ritchie actually is i vaguely remember at the draft saying he was a big body playing wing but the kid's on a new Phil Kessel level |
I am starting to wonder if Virtanen and McCann can make the big team next year. The Nucks didn't want them to go back to Juniors and they were too young to play in Utica. So if Gaunce and Shinkaruk both have great training camps, that means 2 less positions are available. Virtanen might be able to crack the club, but I can see both of them spending next year in Utica to play top or second line minutes and to hone their skills. So then that means the Canucks may have another tank of a season unless they win big in the draft. |
i honestly don't mind more tank seasons if the rebuild and development is being done right none of this retool/rebuild on the fly bullshit anyone with half a brain in business know that when you try to be too much of everything, you fuck up on everything |

For those who didn't know Willie was on tsn 1040 answering questions from fans. Some of the answers are just... Lul |
WD is just trash cant stand him! They need a whole new coaching staff! The only thing that is ok is the PK...the PP always need work and needs a better look over all! |
So wd gets trashed early in the season for not rolling 4 lines like he did last season, and now he gets trashed for rolling 4 lines like he did last season. We're trashing on him bc the team is losing games and improving draft position yet we're complaining bc the strategies he uses are losing us games #cdclogic |
If anyone is around the rink and wants free tickets, lower bowl pair hit me up, rather give them away then get peanuts from a scalper |
