I got them from jasonturbo when he sold his 01 ITR and had some spare parts. I think I paid around $550 CAD for them in 2016. I think they were around $600 to $650 CAD at the time. Getting them new is not super easy. My local dealer said they were NLA. Yet some dealers on ebay have the 2001 brand new.

Just an FYI 97-00 mats are checkered and are discontinued. I actually had a pair of gently used front checkered mats and sold them when I bought the car. They ended up in a PY in New York and that car sold on BAT. I should have kept them.

I know the Lloyds mats are popular with Porsche owners. I am curious if their durability is better than the euro R mats.

How do you keep track of your old MATS? i do not even know where any of my previous owned vehicles are right now.

TouringTeg 10-09-2018 10:52 AM

Mostly a coincidence but the ITR world is small. The location of the BAT seller was the same as where I shipped the checkered mats to just a few week prior. I also recognized the wear pattern.

I just spoke to Campus Acura Victoria parts as I ordered a new ebrake button this morning. The chrome on mine is chipped and you can replace the button only.

They can still get the 2001 OEM mats for $570 CAD plus tax. For kicks I asked about getting new carpet. It was $920 CAD but is NLA.

If you guys want to order the lloyds mat, make an account on autoanything.com, if I remember correctly, they give 20% off the 1st order, and you can customize lloyds mats on the site (that's where I got a CTR set from)

Wow, you got a NEW 2017 ? make sure to check HONDA RECALLS. there was one for that model year

SituAsian 10-12-2018 03:19 PM

Yeah, a sales manager was going to keep the car for himself and it was in the showroom for a year, he decided to let it go and I was the lucky customer :D

I'll check for that recall too, thanks.

The wheels are:
Enkei Ammodo
https://www.1010tires.com/Wheels/Enkei/Ammodo
18" x 8", Offset: 32
No spacers (the offset is pretty aggressive, and you can see they are near flush)
I bought the rims off craigslist for a whopping $200 for all 4. Fixed all the curbing damage, primed and painted them gold. I'm super happy with the result.
The center caps are from eBay, paid I think around $15. Painted them at the same time as the wheels. They do not fit these wheels, at all. And are being held in place right now with clear silicone... we will see how long that holds :-P

Tires:
Toyo Celsius
235/45/18
https://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Toyo/Celsius/128980
Looks like 1010 jacked their price back up for this size to $250+.
For three days, they were $207-208... long enough for me to get the price match :-P

I wish they made OEM mudflaps...

My biggest worry was clearing the Brembos, since no one seems to have tried these wheels on the CTR. And 1010 says they won't fit. But they do, and I'm quite surprised how good they look. Especially since I got them for cheaper than steelies.

There is a guy at 1010 tires that have an FK8 R.

2017-2018 Civic Type R, Rally Armor

Personally don't like the look of those.
I've seen one person that took the normal civic mudguards and trimmed them down to fit his CTR. We can't even get the Sport hatchback mudguards here in Canada yet. I think those would require the least amount of trimming to fit.

Selling a few ITR parts. I bought these for my 01 ITR but decided to stick with my stock CDM ecu. Both work fine and I only used them for a day. An alternative to having CEL for evaporative system. Best for JDM or USDM car. Prices include shipping in Canada.

JDM 96 ITR ECU 37820-P73-003 (Plug and play for 97 98 99 ITR) $210 CAD shipped

Boomslang jumper harness OBD2B to OBD2A for 00 01 ITR and 99 00 Civic Si. $230 CAD shipped
