for an east coast car, that's pretty minty

Iron Chef 11-12-2018 04:31 PM

Mileage discrepancy, jdm B18c swap and internal tranny work. It was beat at some point in its life

VR6GTI 11-12-2018 06:55 PM

Hopefully the new buyer got a good deal and didn’t pay the asking price and then have to deal with all that shit

Long story short, the current guy bought it and gave evo garage a blank cheque to fix it back to spec.

(it had B16a cams in it at one point....... :lawl: )

I have heard of thie b16 ITR before.. in victoria.. i think he is amuroray's friend

tegra7 11-13-2018 07:10 PM

Did anyone else end up ordering mats from lloyd mats?

VR6GTI 11-13-2018 08:32 PM

Nope
Would only be interested in the rear mat

TouringTeg 11-14-2018 11:43 AM

Nope. I should pony up for another set of oem 2001 mats.

If I had a 97-00 the Lloyds are a solid option.

He said he owned a 97 model with b16 cams ( bought it unknowingly) . .seems like it was a popular downgrade.

that quebec one posted in good buys thread few weeks back with the nasty alteeza and sunroof is this one?

his is a very real Integra Type R from Canada, folks. It’s number 50 out of only 197 built. As for the sunroof, Craig, the owner, bought the car second-hand from his local Acura dealer when he was 18. Imagine owning a car like this when you’re that age. Like all immature teenagers at the wheel of a Honda Type R, he did a few stupid things with it. He also crashed it. Thankfully, he was OK

But the car was beaten up pretty badly and needed an entirely new roof. The problem was that the only roofs that were readily available at the time were from an Integra GS-R, which all came with a sunroof. Craig could have waited for a real Type R roof section, or one from an Integra GS, but that would have taken weeks or even months.

He was 18. The kid wanted his car back, fast, so he could get back to racing the other kids with it. Plus, he figured a sunroof would be a cool creature comfort on his Type R. I mean why not, right? So he went with it.

He admits regretting his decision ever since and has plans to delete the glass.

TouringTeg 11-15-2018 05:56 AM

I must have missed the sunroof car being posted? Easy to spot since it is pretty rare someone would add a sunroof.

tofu1413 11-15-2018 09:04 AM

You can program Hondata ECU's to use the check engine light as a shift light FYI

Never a good idea with a different motor. I’d be surprised if it hits 20k on BAT

twitchyzero 11-17-2018 06:40 PM
