I'd question the model year for the DB8R especially. They only made 229 in 2000 and zero in 2001 as that was the DC5 changeover year. Both nice though but $15K is a bit much for each. The 25 year rule kills U.S. buyers unless they are willing to risk losing the car.

Perfect for a track as is. Some JDM front recaros and quality body and paint work would probably cost another $5-6k if one wanted to go that route.

It's basically stock , with mild bolt on's.
It was basically my track car so my body is all original but beat to hell.
It's a great drivers car but not collector status.

been thinking of getting a sedan that my family can enjoy. It just seems selfish to have 2 cars that only I can enjoy. 20k could go toward a nice sedan. My wife says no , because I'll always want one in my heart. Adulting sucks

Depends on what "beat to hell" looks like and if you have the red interior. It's the interior that makes the '01 so desirable. Outside of that, all '00 and '01's are the same in Canada and US besides exterior color.

Use the '01 in Ontario as a reference. It has 101,xxxkms, red interior, clean title (apparently), very few mods that are easily reversible and stock parts are included. It looks pretty clean. Seller is asking $22,500 USD which is close to $30K CAD.

If your serious about selling and have a serious amount you want i wouldn't mind looking at it

Edit: Looking at pricing of other Honda models @ US 34K compared to similar Canadian spec Honda's we can expect a price of around 42K CAD, this would seem correct as it is a competitor to the STI and Golf R IMO.

$40k for a Civic.. what a time to be alive.

Golf R > New CTR. I think they are fugly as fcuk and I'm not sure I'll ever get past it, despite the performance and homage to the R lineage. I've had a super man crush on Golf R's for a couple years now so that's also not helping. Ha!
