^ you can get a decent mileage (between 100K to 200k) 91 NSX for $40 to $50K or a low mileage one for $55K.

Expresso 03-29-2017 12:59 PM

so double beans.

Z3guy 03-29-2017 01:11 PM

Did you pass math class? $40k to $45k nsx vs similar mileage type r?????? That is +33% to +50% premium

TouringTeg 03-29-2017 05:39 PM

1991 Acura NSX 2 Door Coupe | eBay

Hard to find a direct comparison, clean carfax, 160kms The above is modded and they want 52k CAD plus shipping / taxes / 6.1 % duty / RIV fee / out of province inspection etc

Z3 do you have any examples of NSX under 50k? I will check Nsx Prime.

Canadian cars are $$$$$ Like the red one with white TE37 on CL Vancouver.

Z3guy 03-29-2017 06:15 PM

^ Touring Teg, I have a few buddies who have recently purchased NSX's.

1991 NSX 38K kms for $56K from Mtl

1991 NSV 202K kms for $39K from Mtl

The worst deals for NSXs seem to be in BC....high demand low supply, however back east cars seem to at least $10K less expensive, especially from Mtl. I know, I was skeptical too buying cars from Que, but as long as you get them inspected you should be fine. If you want my car broker friend's number, pm me. Cheers.

TouringTeg 03-29-2017 06:40 PM

Wow both of them were good really good deals. Those are great examples thanks! I would rather have a 39k NSX than a 29k ITR any day.

Buying an NSX or other exotic from a cold climate is not so bad because odds are low it was ever winter driven. Inspection, Carproof and away you go.

I would love to add an NSX to my collection but my wife will divorce me and take my ITR and sell it on BaT. :chop: I appreciate the offer.

Would love this on Racing Hart Type C (OG) Just sold but it was 92k miles, $40k USD

It's easier to find a clean nsx vs getting into a clean Itr

twitchyzero 04-05-2017 10:42 PM

anyone else kinda thrilled absolutely untouched, never-molested Type R is being offered in American markets again?

what are the chances of the FK8 CTR affecting ITR value 5 years from now?

performance-wise it'll eat the ITR...but nostalgia and driving experience is likely not there for those shopping for the ITR

the Ohio-assembled 300hp Turbo K20C does 295 lbft @2.5K (fuel cutoff 7k)

weighs only a bit more than ITR

the grip if anything like the 2015 CTR built in UK is supposedly incredible

roughly $50K before dealer mark-ups

yes it'll says Earth Dreams on the motor...yes it's overly-busy and ugly from some angles...what a breath of fresh air though...looking at banged up DC2s can be tiring

Damn...$50k for a fwd Honda. I'd rather put $ down on a condo or townhouse. Looks cool though, $35-40k car.

Timpo 04-06-2017 12:14 AM

looks much different than the EK Civic Type-R

twitchyzero 04-06-2017 12:34 AM

pricing details will come soon...the number floating around seems to be 35k US

30k for ITR 20 years ago is 45k adjusted for inflation...but it was in a league of its own
now there's Focus RS, Golf R etc.

TouringTeg 04-07-2017 07:27 PM

2001 Acura Integra Type R | eBay

Will be interesting to see where this NHP 01 ITR with 312kms ends up. Already close to 13k CAD

Highly doubt the new CTR will effect ITR prices from rising as it gets older, Look at e30 m3 prices for example.

Anyone recognize this? Looks kinda familiar

Screen captured from "IZombie" TV show. Show is filmed in Vancouver.

Because NSX's never got cheap enough that complete morons could afford them and destroy them. Its the same with the e36 right now. They tanked, got bought by idiots that couldn't maintain them, then dorifto'd them into a pole on bald tires.

twitchyzero 04-08-2017 06:33 PM

true but BMW M were never discontinued...and they've diluted by adding it as a trim to almost the entire line-up ie X5 M....Type rice hasn't been in a dealership on our shores for over 15 years

TouringTeg 04-09-2017 10:33 AM

So true. NSX tended to stay in the hands of mature owners.

So many ITR's have been modded and hacked up. Funny to see them come to market with sellers thinking they can cash in.

Like this one in Ontario... No working stereo, gutted interior, lots of stock parts long gone.

i'm not so sure... i keep going back to look at this abomination of an interior someone put into this nsx :fulloffuck:

https://images.craigslist.org/00H0H_...nO_600x450.jpg

https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/6078545381.html

... but at least it's reversible (not sure if it's worth it for an automatic nsx at that price), unlike that bedliner stuff :(
